This place has two sides to i believe, it has the arcade and a train run from the same place. i can tell you about both as we visited her loads of times while we were in mablethorpe on holiday. i will start with the train service.
The train service runs from the car park out side jacksons arcades and runs all the way to the seal sanctury with stops on the way too and from there. it calls of at the haven site where we were staying, we found this was the only way to get from the complex to mablethorpe as the busses had stopped running because the season had just finished. it was ace, you pay £2 each return and it runs from 10am to 4pm, the little train has two carrages and a petrol train that pulls it. the trains ticket guy was a very funny guy and we loved him. steve, thanks for making our trip fun, you made our jurney good fun and the tickets for the kids to get a free gift from the arcades was a great idea. i can understand why you would do it because we ended up spending money on the games, but your arcade was a lot cheaper then the complex we were staying in. the staff for the train were always friendly, made us enjoy the experiance and by the time we had finished our holiday actully missed talking to you guys.
the arcade this was probably the cheapest arcades we went into in mablethorpe, it was a good size and was not over crowded with machines, the staff kept it friendly and clean. the arcade was right on the beach front, it had bingo in it, my wife loves bingo so we asked about times, we were told there needs to be 4 boards lit up for bingo to be played, so i went around the arcade asking customers if they wanted to join in the fun, i think i managed to get about another 4 people to join, and once bingo started it filled up. the best thing about it, it was 20p a game, and you got token to spend in the prize area, really good idea and we found this to be alot of fun. the place was clean and tidy, they have the right attitude to do this the right way.
my impressions guys if you want some constructive criticism is maybe have another sign made for the other side of the arcade, as when you come down from the beach to go to the train there is no sign to say what you are or how you are. this is not a negative but if you know me which i think you guys probably do remember me is i would like to help you make the best from what you have.

Read moreMy parents used to bring me and my brother's to this arcades when we used to visit several times a year more than 20 years ago and I've continued to use it with my own son but after the way we were treated by a certain member of staff yesterday I certainly won't be returning ever again.
My son had been playing the same 2p machine for at least half an hour and had at least 300 tickets piled up on the floor that he had collected playing it my wife put a pound coin up on top of the machine for my son to go get some more 2ps to play with but he accidentally put it into the machine followed buy several 2ps causing a jam in the coin slot of the machine so we called over a thin brown haired older female attendant for help my wife explained what had happened and the woman replied "I don't think so, it will of been like that when you came to it" making out like we were just after the pound out of it I then said look at all the tickets on the floor he's been playing the machine for ages she replied with "I beg to differ" in a rude obnoxious manner I then said look were not bothered about the pound can you please just unjam the machine so he can play it please she then stormed of in a huff saying "I'll have to fetch a screwdriver" We got the machine unjammed but then decided we had been treated like some sort of criminals so cashed in our 1500 tickets for probably a fivers worth of sweets at best and have vowed to try the other amusements on our return visits this year.
That member of staff should seriously reconsider working with the public as she really isn't a people person the...
Read moreThis is a classic arcade full of fun games for all ages it has a little section of racing cars for the young ones and it has a very appealing gift shop for tickets that you win to exchange for prizes. There is a toilet on site but not sure if it is open for public use. In colder weather they have heating panels that warm the place very nicely. Plenty of staff available to help you who genuinely want to help and all appear to enjoy their jobs. Jackson also offer a land train service along Quebec Road to the deal sanctuary and the HAVEN site at a very nominal price of £1.50 for adults they also give you a train ticket which also doubles as a voucher to use at their Jackson arcade. Well planned out venue with add on options available, also the venue is less than 2 minutes from the beach and sits on the corner plot of the high...
