It was an excellent day out for all the family, we came from Leeds and stayed at a caravan site, we couldn't understand why the park and ride, is out of bounds for dog owners, so had to find a parking spot in the over the top no parking area created on the streets. Going into the kinema area, and noticed the army dug in trenches, unbeknown to us the army guys decided to act about and throw very loud fireworks/special effects,which was upsetting for the dogs that were there ,also people with heart problems, no thought for anyone. Read moreI popped in out of curiosity as the thought of visiting a museum. In such a lovely setting would be very rewarding. In the end ( due to time limit ) I could only go into the reception area and grabbed a couple of leaflets from the tourist information section. I Will go back, as i am very intrigued as to what the museum holds...
Read moreWonderfully maintained building, cheap entry fee and great staff. The museum is very much a 'touch and feel' museum with plenty of drawers to open and other things to explore. Provides a good insight into a previous time and the history of the local area. Would always recommend to anyone remotely interested in anything...
