Awful experience, from start to finish we just had a really disappointing visit. We used to visit regularly but haven’t been in over 12 months and I can honestly say we won’t return. I visited with my mum and two young children, one of whom has a dairy allergy. We were able to order a vegan version of the children’s pizza, at which I thought “great”, the food took 40 minutes to arrive and when it did both children’s meals were vegan. My eldest, who does not have an allergy would definitely not eat vegan cheese, and this wasn’t what we had ordered anyway but the waitress said she would “see what she could do”, which I found odd when the mistake had been on the restaurant’s part. So we waited again, another 10 minutes and a normal pizza arrived. We were then offered the usual Parmesan cheese. When the waitress arrived she proceeded to reach across the table, including my young son with a dairy allergy and sprinkle the cheese across the table, including him and all over his pushchair. My son put his hands straight in the cheese, and obviously at this point panic ensued as he could have become really unwell had he eaten any. We were really upset about this, and when we made the manager aware her reaction was defensive and really bizarre just repeatedly asking us “what we would like her to do about the situation”. Obviously making young and inexperienced staff aware of the importance of allergies would have been the appropriate response. We asked for the bill, without any one of us finishing our meal, and when this arrived the waitress thew it down on the table. We didn’t have the children’s desert which was paid for as part of their meal deal, however we weren’t offered it either, and just could not wait to leave the restaurant. I’ve not left a restaurant so disappointed before, and sad that my young child could have been left unwell...

TL:DR - Very very busy, booking essential. Rocky start but the best pizza I have ever eaten.

Let's get the negative out of the way first. Booked a table, got to the restaurant a few minutes ahead if schedule to find our table was not ready for us and was actually occupied. We were invited to wait in the bar until it was, which we did. All the staff definitely had their hands full but the manager's flippant tone didn't wash with us. I am absolutely certain she meant well and did not intend to come across as dismissive but we were already irritated and considering leaving to eat somewhere else so the little joke about my watch being wrong didn't land. Comping a round of drinks at this point would have gone a very long way. Having said all that I am glad we didn't leave...

Once we were seated the entire scenario changed, the server was with us in an instant, apologising profusely for the wait and taking our drinks order, which were brought quickly and our food order was placed. I had the bruscetta which was, whilst a simple dish, was absolutely delicious, everything tasted fresh and perfectly balanced, and it was presented beautifully.

I can't speak for the pasta but the the pizza... oh... the pizza! Without a doubt the Chipotle pizza is the best pizza I have ever eaten, and you don't get to be this fat without eating more than your fair share of pizzas. Sweet, salty and savoury, it was the pizza every pizza chef dreams of making, a cheesy masterpiece and no mistake. I can't wait to go back and order it again. Everyone else in my party echoed my sentiments too... even something as simple and a pepperoni pizza was met with...

Dined here in 17.08.20 and took advantage of the 'Eat out to help out' scheme. We pre booked our table and upon arrival were greeted by a friendly member of staff. Hand sanitiser is available, a one way system which is clearly sign posted and clear screens in between tables, which made the restaurant still feel light and airy as opposed to dark and closed in. Our table was booked for 5pm when the restaurant opened but it became steadily busier, until every table was in use, during our time there. The service was fantastic, the waiter that looked after our area was very polite, helpful and hospitable. The food was delicious, we ordered a range of pizza, pasta, specialist fish dish, children's meals and desserts and every single dish was delicious. The waiting time was minimal and our waiter checked after every course that we were happy with the food. Would definitely recommend, the menu is an eclectic mix of Mediterranean dishes and the portion sizes are huge! The children's meal deal is great value including 3 courses. I thought all the staff did exceptionally well as they became so busy as the evening went on but they all were working so hard, wearing ppe (which must have been so hot) but provided service...

I thought the staff were extremely friendly. The food, I ordered the pulled pork pizza which it states on the menu has bbq sauce. My pizza arrived and there was no bbq sauce anywhere. I talked to, who I think is, the manager and he said the pulled pork is marinated in a bbq sauce but he can go and ask if they have any "bbq based pizzas" left if I like. He returned and said they had no more "bbq based pizzas" left and that I can pick something else from the menu. He was very apologetic but I didn't want to cause a fuss and just went with it. "Bbq based pizzas" sounds weird, surely they are all plain and you add the sauce? I don't know, I thought it was just strange.

Absolutely loved our visit here. Gorgeous, fresh, modern decor, beautiful lighting, friendly staff,a lovely comfortable atmosphere and, as I mentioned at the time, what I think was the best pizza I have ever had! I went for a Montanara. Sounded interesting, tasted absolutely gorgeous. You have to try this amazing creation consisting of chorizo, goats' cheese and a drizzle of honey. Absolutely outstanding. Special thanks to Amanda, who looked after us - friendly, attentive and she made us feel very welcome. Zucci had an excellent menu, nice fresh tasting food and I'd really recommend you try it!

What an amazing evening out. Sam, our server was friendly, funny, sociable and recommended some great drink options to elevate our meal. The food was spot-on italian; the portions were generous, the ingredients were fresh, and dishes were familiar but with exciting new twists. I absolutely loved the garlic bread with Nduja, the king prawn tagliatelle with a cream sauce filled with unique herbs and that charlotte cake that was as light and hopeful as a bright fluffy cloud. Would absolutely recommend this place!!
