We arrived today to be greeted and told to take a seat. The table was in the middle of being set, however once we sat down, it was just left unmade, leaving us with no side plates and no forks. When ordering, the man took our drinks without writing down what we wanted, then turned up with the wrong drink and said ‘can you cope with this’ when stated no, he went to get another and came back with the correct one. Another half a pint was ordered and bought out in a pint glass. After this we waited for around twenty minutes, nobody had come to see us within this time and we had to go an ask for menu’s as we hadn’t received them. Waiters kept coming to the table to clear things we hadn’t finished with. The food was good - but that was the best review we could give as when eating 2 different waiters came to the table and asked me to pass over plates/cutlery that weren’t being used whilst i was eating my food- one of the party interjected and asked them to return when we were finished. We asked for a jug of water twice as the first time they failed to bring it over, then they bought it with 3 glasses but there was 5 of us and we had to ask for more. At the end of the dinner experience, we asked for the bill and nobody then came to collect payment. We asked one of the waiters if they can bring the card machine, and he just stood there talking once we sat back at the table and we had to ask again for someone to come over. All in all, the experience in itself wasn’t great and we wouldn’t visit again, very disappointed after reading...

Greeted by someone counting cutlery who didn't even have the energy to look up. Waited a few minutes and then got taken to a table by someone who didn't speak much other than "follow me". We sat down and within a second a member of staff was rather abruptly suggesting we have poppadoms, we always do so agreed but we'd not even ordered a drink or looked at the menu. Reckon this guy was paid on commission for selling them. Someone took our drinks order, asked for Kingfisher on draught as it was the only beer on draught, got given 2 bottles of Kingfisher instead and i obviously questioned it and was told they haven't done it for months. Take it off the menu then! Our waiter was ignorant, arrogant and just dead behind the eyes. Food came quickly, it was average really, might have enjoyed it more if it wasn't for the poor service. The only happy member of staff was the guy who came to take the money for our bill and had the audacity to ask if we're tipping. Very rare for us not to tip but I'm afraid on this occasion I was reluctant to pay at all. Awful experience don't...

Sorry but I didn't have a nice experience. I like to think everything starts off with 5 stars and for everything that's wrong I take one off.

Service was not great, the guy we had was extremely quiet. I put my menu down after we had all picked something and he came back and then used my menu as a flat surface to write on...

Asked for 2 poppadoms, got 3 but they weren't whole.

Came back and placed plates and metal slab on table. Quickly deduced ourselves that these things were hot but we got no warnings.

Food was quite nice.

When clearing up, someone else this time, managed to flick rice at me when picking up the plates.

Part of a group we split the bill. I was last to pay and even though he verbally told me what he was charging me for the numbers didn't add up... working it out on the way out I should have paid roughly £10.90. I got charged £15.50.

Even looking at the receipt, which I had to ask for 3 times, and adding up all the totals. The total I got in the end was different to that on the bill.

Hence my rating, but I'm sure this won't happen...

Nice Saag Aloo, nice Mushroom Rice, nice poppadoms and breads etc.. But the curries were far too greasy. Ordered food from dedicated website (don't do this, it cause confusion in the kitchen) originally planned for a later delivery, only to get a call from the delivery guy 30 minutes later that he was outside, while I was still in the pub. Told him he was 1.5 hours early and to take it back. Phoned restaurant who confirmed the mistake and said they would "cook a fresh meal for us later". I'm afraid I cannot recommend this place for curries because the food delivered was more akin to a tray of wet sloppy grease with a handful for frozen prawns/mixed veg floating around in it. I suspect the extra grease was from the reheating/recooking of the food as I struggle to believe the food would normally arrive that greasy.

Third time lucky! Chicken jalfrezi, paneer balti, one pilau rice, one plain naan, the pickle tray and poppadoms to start. Popadoms we’re fresh and warm. Unusually, the pickle tray was missing the lime pickle but there were substitutes. Clean and fresh onion, mango pickle, a mild orange sauce and a tangy red sauce. Jalfrezi, very tasty (according to my boyfriend - we don’t share as I’m vegetarian). Pilau rice light and fluffy, naan bread, rarely have this treat but we did a swap and it was delicious. My paneer balti, full of flavour and spicy without being overbearing. Good portion of cheese which makes a change. We (veggies) are often shortchanged with the protein. Altogether, a much improved restaurant than we had previously experienced. So glad we thought we’d give it another chance.

Absolutely stunning Indian Restaurant with takeaway available. We've had a takeaway from here previously and it was brilliant so we decided to try their dine-in option and we were not disappointed! We ordered a decent spread across the menu and were extremely satisfied with portion size, flavours and service. A* across the board, plus Kingfisher beer on draft is always a winner! Cannot recommend enough, easily one of the best I've ever eaten at, we will be back. Highly Recommended.
