Oh look, the Castle on the Hill.
So just as you turn off the main road and head up towards the square and castle, turn immediately left. Go on about 600m and find the parking spot on the left hand side of the road, careful its narrow.
You will be parked just below the private school up to your left and the Mere is to your right. There is a footpath on the right hand side of the road that takes you along the side of the lake and offers probably the best view up to the castle.
If you have a zoom lens it will draw the castle in a bit closer but a mobile phone wide lens setup will give a nice general view across the Mere.
