Very good Indian restaurant - extensive menu, well-priced drinks, lovely atmosphere, helpful and pleasant staff. The King Prawn Biryani and Irish coffee is to die for. Exceptional service.

Called for a takeaway wearing our wellies and scruffs and ended up eating in. Very warm welcome. Very happy staff and the food was excellent. Will definitely be back. Top marks

This review has to be twofold. The food was good, the beer was good. However, the rant from one of the staff members about their dislike for Romanians? Not so good. Wholly inappropriate to engage customers in a Brexit rant charged with racism. And an invite to the pub "to talk this through properly..." so other customers are not disturbed? An extraordinary experience. So, in conclusion, if you like your Bhuna with a hint of bigotry then this is your place. On the other hand, if you'd rather dine without having to hear how people from Romania are responsible for the lack of work available in this country (visit any hospital and try telling those that work there that they're fully staffed) then I'd find somewhere else in Framlingham to spend your evening. It has to be said that all other staff...

I never thought I'd say this after ordering my dear friend Abdul's Tarka Dhal (formerly of the same Prince of India in Framlingham) but the new owners have done it. The best Tarka Dhal and rice I've ever had; I'm still experiencing the subtlety of the Dhal five minutes after I've eaten it. And maybe what's even better, the way the pilau rice compliments it. I only realised how good the rice was when I went back to it after the curry; I've never seen that level of sophistication in food. In addition to all that, the staff are friendly and polite, and their English (not that I personally care) is excellent. The Prince is back! Btw, I have eaten a lot of curry in my life; it is my best food and I do consider...

After a day at the Seaside in Southwold, we all decided on a curry for dinner and despite the distance, this was by far the best rated! I have to say it was probably the nicest food I've had in a long time. The Staff were incredibly friendly and full of advice on what flavours and curries compliment other dishes. I decided to have a Chicken Tika Phall for the first time and it was VERY hot yet still full of flavour! The dish is apparently difficult to cook correctly so my compliments to the chef! Every other dish we ordered went down a treat!

I'd highly recommend this as a dine in/take out resturant to anyone who loves real Indian food. A lovely way to end the day,...
