Firstly. Not adhering to any Covid rules. Giving contacts details is optional. Waitresses and management handing me cutlery and drinks without tray. Not face visors. Regardless of whether they think that "the virus isn't in Framlingham, we are ok"... Tells me no respect for anyone else who has died or been affected by a global pandemic that has crippled the economy.

Secondly, the menu for vegetarians was like something from 1995! Mac and Cheese, Tomato soup or cheese and pickle sandwich. We are vegan and looking at the current trend, all I would've liked was a veggy burger or a big veggy salad listed on the menu.

No wonder the place has only 3 odd...

When we walked in we were greeted by a lady who couldn't have been nicer, she was friendly, cheerful and helpful. The building dates from the 15th century and has a great, classy atmosphere and lots of character with a lovely cosy feel with 2 wood burners making it warm and cosy, I know this will upset some people who would have to glue themselves to the road and whine about climate change but this makes it an even more of an enjoyable place to visit. 🤪 We had 2 large flat whites and 2 cookies for £8.00 which is probably about £2.00 cheaper than most coffee shops so great value. The Crown has always been so beautiful and welcoming. So when I decided to throw my son's free from cancer party, I thought I would ask these guys. Gabriella was very accommodating and understood what I wanted and the vision I had for the party. I couldn't of asked for more. Everything went smoothly and all the guests had an amazing time. My son Bailey had the best time celebrating with friends and family. This will be remembered for years to come. If you are ever thinking of throwing a party for a special occasion, the crown will definitely help you and will go above and beyond...
