Rang ahead in advance to book a table for 5 people and a twin pram, got a nice spot inside, was a little chilly as all the doors were open but as expected.
We were blown away by how the cream tea came out, for £4.50 i think it was? we just expected a scone on a plate with cream and jam, it came out like on a platter covered in fresh fruit, butter cream and jam, the scones were lovely and warm and looked home made ( possibly left them warming for too long as was a little crispy
Edit: have since been back a couple of times and the food hasn't been too good. Scones were definitely not fresh and had been warmed up to the point of tasting like a biscuit and was served up with frozen clotted cream, Need to have some consistency here. Will definitely be back for sure, hopefully will be good again.

Read moreI recently visited the Tennis Cafe in Eastbourne and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
The cafe itself is beautifully decorated so that it perfectly complements the surrounding tennis courts. The seating area is spacious and comfortable, with plenty of natural light streaming in through the large windows.
But what really sets the Tennis Cafe apart is the food. The menu is full of delicious and healthy options, and lovely cakes! I think by far best cakes in Eastbourne. I tried the breakfast and it was simply divine.
The staff at the Tennis Cafe are also top-notch. They were incredibly attentive and friendly, always making sure that I had everything I needed and that my experience was enjoyable.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Tennis Cafe to anyone looking for a great meal in a beautiful setting. Whether you're a tennis fan or not, this cafe is definitely worth a visit!
