Inside, the State Apartments are richly decorated, with art, royal memorabilia, tapestries, portraits, carved woodwork, and grand staircases. St. George’s Chapel is often cited as a highlight: solemn, beautiful, peaceful, and architecturally exquisite. One can feel both the grandeur of monarchy and the weight of history here.
