We had high hopes but were ultimately disappointed. My wife and I were so excited to come back here after our first visit back in 2016. At that time they had just started construction on their taproom and everyone was very hospitable and friendly, they opened up bottles of beer for us and took us on an impromptu brewery tour of their production.
Due to our awesome experience in 2016, we made a special trip while in London today to come back out to the awesome welcoming brewery we remembered.
We finally made it back and had every intention of buying beer to bring home with us and more merchandise but the experience was less than enjoyable so after a few beers, we were incredibly disheartened and we ended up leaving empty handed.
There was a local at the bar that was making rude and snide comments when we went up to the bar to order which made us feel unwelcome. A server behind the bar laughed and joked along with that local so we felt unwelcome and as if we were invasive.
Seemed to be if you weren’t a local, they didn’t want you there. Sadly, I don’t think...
Read moreThere is one major problem in visiting the Brewery and that is parking otherwise I have no complaints, if I lived nearer I would be there regularly. It appears to me that people park in spaces for visitors to the brewery and go elsewhere, probably into Windsor. Had a car not left just as I arrived I would have had to gone back home and you would have been around £100 down on your takings for the day. This is not the first time this has happened to me and I doubt very much if I am the only customer who has been inconvienced in this way. I don't know what the legal situation re. parking is but, if the parking bays actually belong to the brewery I would suggest it may well pay to enforce the parking position, whether by clamps or parking "fines". Even the warning may be enough to discourage people. Maybe car window stickers for Knight club members and staff ( this would give you a bit of advertising as well) and maybe a dated card for non members to leave on their dashboard. The driver of any car not displaying a "permit" suffers the...
Read moreHaving had a great experience at the coronation weekend we decided to return with overseas guests. I called in the morning to book for 9 people. Checked they were serving food - they were but no mention the menu had changed and was not updated online. On arrival the table was not ready. Once seated we discovered it was a be menu but we could order right away - a new pos system was installed which was causing the delay. We were seated at 6pm. Eventually we managed to order at 6:40. Some issues with items not available - that happens, no issue with that. Burgers lacked flavour, no skin on fries but not informed on ordering, a pork belly that was far too salty and dry, mistakes with side salads and the list continues. Eventually we were offered a free round of drinks - didn’t help kids or people driving. I’m really really disappointed as this is a place we really love to show off in Windsor. A simply heads up would have been nice and we perhaps would have just had a drink and booked somewhere else for dinner. Sadly cannot recommend at...
