All Bar One Windsor — Restaurant in England

I am deeply disappointed with the behaviour of the bar staff during my visit to this establishment. I came here for a birthday drink on Friday, January 10th, at approximately 11 PM, and was met with an unacceptable level of disrespect and unprofessionalism.

Despite the bar being nearly empty, we were blatantly ignored, spoken to rudely, and treated with an overall lack of courtesy. When I inquired about the name of one particular staff member, I was deliberately misled. The individual, whose actual name was Dan, falsely claimed his name was Jack. This lack of honesty and accountability was further compounded by his unapologetic demeanor and overtly unpleasant attitude.

When I requested to speak with a manager, the situation escalated unnecessarily. Several staff members gathered around, and it appeared that the supposed on-duty manager, Finn, was largely silent while another staff member took the lead in addressing me rudely. This individual dismissively remarked, "What's the problem? You got your drinks," which was repeated to me again later as I left to speak to the manager.

Trying to ascertain the names and roles of the management team proved to be a frustrating and evasive ordeal, as no one seemed willing to provide clear information. When I finally spoke with the duty manager, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the poor treatment I had experienced.

Adding to this was an uncalled-for remark from another staff member, who asked, "Is your mate drunk?"—a completely inappropriate and irrelevant comment, especially given the circumstances.

Having visited many All Bar One locations in the past, this experience was shocking and entirely unacceptable. The behaviour of the staff was unprofessional and reminiscent of immature behaviour, not what one would expect from a bar in a prestigious area like Windsor. This level of service is appalling and reflects poorly on the establishment's management and staff...

I booked the cocktail masterclass for my friend's hen do. Making the cocktails was a really fun experience and to make three and receive a drink in arrival for £40 is a great price. The woman the lead the masterclass was friendly and good at showing us how to make the different cocktails.

However, I wasn't very impressed when I had to call the bar myself to find out the new drinks menu to choose our drinks in advance. I feel I should have been contacted with the menu as I was told months in advance that they were due a menu change before we were due to go.

Also, we paid a £45 deposit (£5 per person) to secure our booking and the rest would be paid on the day. When it came to paying, each of us were overcharged by £5. When one of the girls questioned it, she was told that it was a service charge which we were never told about. Unfortunately I was one of the last to pay so found out once nearly everyone had been overcharged. I explained that we've already paid the deposit so everyone expected to pay £35. I did receive the deposit money back which meant I had to go through the hassle of owing everybody £5, not what you want to be sorting out on a hen do! One of the girls made non alcoholic cocktails and she was charged the same amount as making alcoholic ones. The price for this should have been £30 as advertised on the website and £25 to pay on the day. She did receive her refund but only once I queried it. I recently visited All Bar One in Windsor with a group of friends on Saturday, 21st September, and it was an unforgettable experience. The vibe was just what we were looking for—a perfect blend of great food, drinks, and music that kept the energy high all night.

The food was on point, with a variety of options that catered to all tastes. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and presented beautifully, making it the perfect start to the evening. As for drinks, the selection was impressive, with a range of expertly crafted cocktails, spirits, and wines. The bartenders were quick and skilled, ensuring we had our drinks in hand in no time, despite the bustling crowd.

The highlight of the night, though, was the DJ. They played an incredible mix of bangers that had everyone up and dancing. The music selection was spot-on, with a great mix of classics and current hits, keeping the energy high throughout the night. The atmosphere was buzzing, making it the perfect spot for a fun and lively night out.

I’m curious to know if this setup with the DJ happens every Saturday, as we’re already thinking about returning for another great night. If this is the regular weekend vibe at All Bar One, it’s definitely going to become a go-to spot for us!
