Update to my original review, which said "A great local, community pub. Does good food also. Sunday's vgood!" So have been here so many times now. Remains one of a kind in Windsor. It's a proper pub. Bar has three counters so easy to get served. It still run, now for over 30 years, by Anne and Chesney. Great hosts. It remains a community pub and away from the busy centre of Windsor. Has a cadre of very loyal regulars and comes into its own when many of them are in! Like many pubs nowadays, the pub game is hard but both Anne and Chesney respect the trade and maintain their love of being publicans. Anne does the food and has been for 30 years. It's good, traditional and value for money. Sunday Lunch is a highlight and if you have not booked them it may be touch and go to get a table. Recently the restaurant has been booked out every Sunday. For the food, I have a few pics that hopefully give a good 'flavour' of what's on offer. Far more options than I have pics for!

My partner and I had on two occasions left the Vansittart after waiting over 20 minutes each time to be served. We decided to walk over instead to The Bexley. What a cute pub. Service was prompt and so courteous , we were offered blankets for the outside seating area. Atmosphere was really nice. A lovely place for a calm and friendly drink.

Traditional pubs like this are a national treasure, and this is a great one. I was fortunate to get to spend time with the owners (for the last 35 years) and create some wonderful memories during my visit to Windsor. Come for the history, stay for the people!

As it was my birthday, we decided to go to the Bexley Arms for a treat .... and what a treat it was. Firstly, the pub - a good old fashioned proper pub, beautifully set out with carpets and lovely people to talk to. And then to the food - I had the most delicious fillet steak done with a mushroom and brandy sauce. Oh, it was lovely - and a very large portion too. My wife had the sea bass which she said was adorable - and she particularly liked the really nice fresh vegetables. And finally, to the staff - all so very friendly, but a special thank you has to go the lovely lady who served us. Thank you Madam - you were lovely and looked after us so well. So all-in-all our first time eating here, but definitely...

This is a nice pub, but it's perhaps not for everybody, and that's okay. If you're looking for a good range of ales and exciting food, you may not love this place. But if you're looking for character and warmth, the Bexley is for you. For people (like me) who love an eccentric old pub, this place is a real gem, and a nice contrast to the other nearby pubs. It's old-fashioned and full of character and very sweet. I love how it looks on the outside and the inside is just great. The staff I met were really friendly and warm and I wouldn't...
