Update to my original review, which said "A great local, community pub. Does good food also. Sunday's vgood!"
So have been here so many times now. Remains one of a kind in Windsor. It's a proper pub. Bar has three counters so easy to get served.
It still run, now for over 30 years, by Anne and Chesney. Great hosts.
It remains a community pub and away from the busy centre of Windsor. Has a cadre of very loyal regulars and comes into its own when many of them are in! Like many pubs nowadays, the pub game is hard but both Anne and Chesney respect the trade and maintain their love of being publicans.

So all-in-all our first time eating here, but definitely...

But if you're looking for character and warmth, the Bexley is for you. For people (like me) who love an eccentric old pub, this place is a real gem, and a nice contrast to the other nearby pubs. It's old-fashioned and full of character and very sweet. I love how it looks on the outside and the inside is just great. The staff I met were really friendly and warm and I wouldn't...
