Pros: fairly cheap compared to others locally though there is the option to pay with Tesco clubcard vouchers at local competitors. Food reasonable for what you pay for, if a bit slow in busy times. Staff good at telling kids to get out of the toddler area (though it'd be nice if their parents could, you know... Parent.) Cons: parking is rubbish, the spaces are tiny and mostly around the corner. This leads to people parking in the disabled spaces without blue badges. Cleanliness... Leaves A LOT to be desired. I'd be surprised if they do more than a cursory wipe down once a day, if that, from the state of what I saw today. There were areas that hadn't seen a hoover in a very long time. Everything is sticky and a bit grim. Upkeep: this place looks tired and run-down, the soft floor mats are coming away in parts of the ground floor sections and there are areas in the toddler section that are just unsafe around the fire exit door. There are loads of baby toys but most are broken or missing pieces. The slides: don't seem to slide? Maybe because they're not cleaned, maybe because they're old, I don't know but my just under 3 year old couldn't slide down them without having to scoot part of the way, nor could I, you basically seem to stick to them. The only slide he could actually slide down was the red slide into the ball pit. Lighting: I don't know if it's intentional but it's just very dark and dingy in places, I didn't enjoy trying to follow my child around at all.

A fun place to spend time with your kids. Lots of soft play area , a soft basketball area and few slides. The cafe inside serves great meal and nice hot/cold beverages. There’s a party hall upstairs looks fun with all flashing lights. Could get really busy at peak times and I ended up standing for more than an hour waiting for a table/ chair while the little one was having fun.

Zoomania is one of the nicest places we have been so far, team ; that is working there , is absolutely brilliant, they are welcoming , friendly hard working people, We go there 3-4 times a week The place is clean , it has loads of activities for babies and older kids, it is not possible to get bored in there .

Dear Zoomania,

I’m writing to express my deep disappointment following a recent children's party at your venue. As a parent, I was appalled by the blatant disregard for both environmental responsibility and children's health displayed throughout the event.

The party bags were a glaring example of environmental negligence. Filled entirely with single-use plastic items, all of which were non-recyclable, these bags not only contribute to the escalating plastic pollution crisis but also set a poor example for the children present. It's disheartening to see such practices in a setting that should be fostering awareness and responsibility. The environmental impact of single-use plastics is well-documented, and as a community-focused establishment, I expected better.

Equally concerning was the food provided. The menu consisted solely of ultra-processed items—chips, pizza, and chicken nuggets—with no vegetables in sight. This type of diet, high in sugar, salt, and unhealthy fats, is linked to various health issues, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases in children. It's troubling to see such choices being offered to young children, who are at a critical stage in developing their eating habits.

As a parent and a member of the community, I urge you to reconsider these practices. The choices made at your establishment have a lasting impact on the children who attend. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to provide a healthier, more environmentally responsible experience for all.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

A very...

Absolutely appalled at today's visit and have an extremely upset 5 year old. Had to unfortunately request a full refund and leave after arriving due to it being completely over-booked and unsafely over-crowded.

Staff didnt even apologise, didn't offer any empathy or even eye contact, in particular the rude woman in the only black t shirt who appeared to be ??more senior. She grabbed the card machine and allowed me to tap my card for the refund without uttering a word to me. There were TWO parties on at the same time, yet we had PRE-BOOKED this morning yet the staff were still allowing more and more on-the-door bookings through despite us telling them that we had no table to sit at at all.

Absolute chaos, and I would guess health and safety regulations were breached for the maximum people allowed in the building.

Will not be returning and would advise you manage your bookings properly, either on a live website bookings system where you STOP people being able to pre-book or get your staff to turn people away once your tables are full.

I also think its absurd to have two parties on at the same time, why not stagger them so you can see the true numbers of bookings and children...
