Bristol Indian Food & Sweets — Attraction in Great Britain

We hired them for our wedding and couldn't recommend enough. Our venue changed and so we ended up booking them quite late, but they were very accommodating. We were able to taste the food, they did site visits to all the venues we had so they knew what to expect in terms of the catering and on the days everything ran smoothly. They had signs up with all the information about the food and the mum of someone with a nut allergy also fed back how professional they were when she spoke to them (which she said was quite rare when she speaks to Indian caterers at Indian events). We had lots of compliments on the food, and everyone said it was amazing, and indeed when we ate, we loved it too! When we, as the couple getting married, were very busy and unable to eat, they always arranged some food to be left behind for us. If there were any issues (I think at one of our events there wasn't some tablecloth), they sorted it themselves. They also packed some of the food for us when we forgot to bring containers. A huge thank you to Samiksha and Krishna, who drove from Bristol to South Devon to cater for our wedding reception in June 2023. They provided delicious home-cooked Indian food, which can be hard to come by down in rural Devon! We had an excellent vegetarian buffet with a range of curries, dal, rice and breads, as well as samosa and pani puri for starters in a marquee prior to dinner - we were able to have a lot of input into the menu and Samiksha even cooked for us in her own home a few months prior to the big day and gave us some food to take back with us for further home testing. It should go without saying that we and all our friends and family loved the meal and many second helpings were had. Bristol Indian Food and Sweets worked really well with our wedding coordinators and were lovely people who it was a pleasure to have around at our wedding. Absolutely amazing Catering Service! Highly recommended!

I recently had hosted a birthday party and ordered the food from Samiksha, I am beyond impressed with the service! From the moment I first reached out, she was incredibly professional and attentive and also flexible with her food menu ensuring every detail was taken care of. The food was nothing short of spectacular. We ordered Spring rolls, samosas in starters, shahi mix veg, Chole and paneer butter masala along with Pooris and Matar pulao, shahi kheer in dessert. Each dish was beautifully presented and the food was really good amount of hot till the end of the party making it more delicious and enjoyable. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the flavors!

Not only was the food outstanding, also Samiksha was really friendly and cooperative. She got the set up done well on time and wrapped up the set up as well at the end of the party.
