I would like to say to start with... that the food was great! The restaurant offers a lovely fun atmosphere, real good vibe. The authentic builders cup scene is a bit too much to my liking but all it all good experience. The reason why I give them a 4 star review and perhaps the next time I come I'll update my score is down to 2 things. The coffee (Bad hand) was not great, now it's ok coffee so why it was so sharp, too much, too strong, tooooo coffee (and I like my coffee) is down to either the roasting, water, machine maybe... i don't know. 2nd reason is that the staff although it was a friendly service, it wasn't too attentive and it could just be better experience and perhaps more mature or experienced with more focus to details and unlike the quick rush of "I see you are finished, let me get you the bill quickly because I already have someone waiting, let me add another chair even if you are still drinking your juice"(that is fine I guess when your busy) the food took time and not exactly how we ordered it (side items etc.) I would certainly come again, I just hope the service will be...
Read moreIt was the only place on the High Street on Sunday morning rammed with customers and for good reason: fully staffed with a really friendly crew we were informed of a bit of a wait for food as they were at maximum capacity so had a couple of drinks and enjoyed the chilled atmosphere, this place reminds me of a rum shack in the Carribbean so we're off to a great start. It was hard to decide what to have as the menu is very well put together with both food and drinks options tailored to perfection, I was rather impressed by the gluten free options as I'm a Coeliac and decided on a full breakfast; the photo provided shows the difference between the normal and gluten free and I thought it was delicious. If you have to follow a diet this place is great: all the staff are clued up and friendly and the menu has everything you need to know. Overall a really great experience considering I thought I was just "nipping down the café" and I will definitely return when I'm in the area, I'd love to see what they do in...
Read moreWe've been coming here for many years now, and Boscanova is a true highlight of Boscombe! Not once have we ever been disappointed with the food or the service, which is why we make a point of visiting here every time we come to Boscombe. Even when it is very busy, which it does get at peak meal times, staff are friendly and attentive and we never have to wait too long for our order. Staff are always keen to recommend dishes if we can't decide, and they have an ever changing specials menu made from fresh locally sourced produce.
They have the absolute best quality coffee that we have tried in the area, the veggie East End breakfast is absolutely amazing, and we always make sure that we have one of their outstanding fruit smoothies too when we visit. Prices are very reasonable plus they have a great offer on breakfasts if you visit early enough (and can find a table at that time!)
They cater for all tastes, with meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes on offer, and excellent options at that too. Highly...
