Bon Dabang — Restaurant in England

I’ve been wanting to visit this place since it opened and I finally got to try it the other day; for one, I can definitely say that the food lives up to the standards that the beautiful interior of the cafe sets. I have been able to visit Korea twice over the past year, so i’ve had my fair share of experiences in Korean cafes which have left a lasting impression on me due to how boring most cafes in the Uk are, I had always thought that we should bring this creativity here and Bon dabang does completely that! The atmosphere of the cafe is so comforting, it really shows off the passion the owners must have for this place as they put in so much effort on just the general look of the place; this really payed off as the cafe has such a homely feel to it. The size of the menu really surprised me, there is a lot of options for vegetarians (which many places tend to lack, especially smaller businesses like this) and the drinks menu is to die for!! I can’t wait to be able to try each drink whenever I have the time. The croffles and the bingsu really stood out to me in this menu, these are two recent staples in Korean food that i’m excited to finally see in the Uk; I didn’t have the chance to try the bingsu yet, however, the croffle was absolutely amazing and I will definitely be coming back to have it again. Not only is the size of the menu impressive, but the presentation of the food is absolutely beautiful, it really captures the importance of aesthetics that most cafes in Korea take pride in, which really makes it an authentic experience. The food itself tastes amazing, I would definitely recommend trying anything on the menu, the quality of the food and the service really makes up for the prices. The owners here are extremely lovely and I can really see this place becoming extremely successful. I could not be happier to have found this beautiful Korean style brunch cafe! It's a hidden gem which I found while shopping at Sovereign. There are no words to describe it! The ambience is so chill and pleasant and the place is beautifully decorated, it feels so cozy. The service is impeccable and the ladies here always greet you with a genuine smile. For me, the most important thing when it comes to food and drinks is quality. I am impressed with the taste, the freshness and authenticity of the dishes! No matter how many times I had a meal here and what time of the day it was, the taste and flavour have stayed the same, which unfortunately is so rare in most restaurants. The consistency, the passion and dedication the lady owner shows when it comes to a great service and quality of food is truly impressive and I can only say a big Thank you to the whole team for the beautiful meals and for the joy and happiness I feel when I stop by. In total have been here twice! Once for a casual lunch and then again for a farewell meal on the 14th of June. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, both the food and the drinks are very delicious and the place itself is homely and aesthetic.

Everything was presented so nicely and every single person in my group of 10 people was very pleased with the service & quality. We had a great time!

A big thank you so much to all of the team for everything (and for the surprise kimchi too!). I was really happy to have my last meal in Bournemouth here and my friends were all really happy too :)

I’m sad that I didn’t discover this place earlier as I definitely would have been here all year round if so.
