First thing I did when I arrived to York I walked all around old city. Walk on walls was magical experience it's just a bit confusing that was a bit of break in between but google maps was very helpful. Lots of amazing pictures and felt like you walk trough time. I will definitely recommend to do this activity to everyone at beginning. Lots of historical things to see.

The medieval walls are a great way to see the city away from the busy streets and traffic. They are free to walk around but are locked at night. The bars are quite spectacular. They are all different and have various features to see. The steps are very narrow and steep. Not all the walls have railings along the edge, and dogs are not allowed on the walls.

These walls were amazing. We took a walk along these walls and the views were spectacular. The York Minister was visible in the background and it was such a great way to end our day. One thing I would be weary of is if you suffer from mobility issues I wouldn't recommend this. There are a lot of steps and...
