Minehead itself is really very nice. Coupled with a visit to Dunster and it's Castle and fudge shops make for an excellent day out or long weekend. We often go and especially enjoy the station when they have the days out with Thomas event. You can ride stream trains modelled on Thomas and his friends. The station is really furnished in the old style with plenty of relics from the past. There's also an open second hand book store, cafe and old fashioned, clean toilets.
A very nice place to visit. Pity we didn't really have time to...
