A very beautiful little place to visit in between the flowers and greenery. It was nice as well that it had some toilets, which could've been cleaner, but it was usable.

Sadly as I left, I came across "the pride tree", which to me was really disturbing. I don't think such a public place should portray any opinions whatsoever of any kind ; it should only provide a peaceful and resting environment/feeling which I didn't encounter leaving the gardens. So I was disappointed with that.

I would still recommend passing by the gardens if you have the opportunity as the scenery is nice (and the train...

Beautiful semi-formal park. Large mature trees and other planting gives it a slightly more relaxed & intimate feel, as many areas feel quite private if the place isn't busy. The large grassy area by the bandstand is open & great for soaking up the sun when the weather is good. Pretty accessible, but note that it is on quite a steep slope so power assist or a certain level of fitness are required for those with mobility issues. There is a cafe at certain times, I have never used it so can't comment on...

Beautiful gardens with bandstand (currently being renovated). A lovely place to relax. Brass bands play during the summer on Sunday afternoons.

There is also a small cafe that sells ice-cream, hot & cold drinks and cakes. At the moment (May 2024) this is only open 10am until 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. Drink prices start at about £2.25 for tea and go up to about £4 for fully loaded hot chocolate.

Very basic...

I had a wonderful time exploring these gardens, particularly appreciating the many trees and plants truly out in summer! The pond has a glorious blend, shelter is uniquely crafted and the GWR bench is appropriate with the proximity to Truro train station. Bandstand is a much needed addition and most of all is the water fountain, showing rarity with a tap still running to date!

Nice gardens. You can see lots of trees and plants around. There is plenty of seating, some undercover and some that are not. Some of the paths can by quite steep in places, for both up and down the garden paths. There is a couple of ponds one with a statue and the other not as obvious. There is a cafe at the top, but that is open during the summer season.

Lovely small park and gardens. No play equipment but grassed areas, numerous benches and a bandstand where there are sunday afternoon free concerts in the summer. There is a coffee and snack hut on site. Poor toilet facilities. Very little parking available except for on Sundays, when you can park on the roadside.
