Enigma Escape's Fear the Unknown is such a brilliant experience. The way they have created it as a puzzle room, with a diverse range of puzzles to solve, multiple elements and a story theme is so effective. It has taken the 'escape room' to another level. I have played it twice and would totally come back again. I am excited to see what other games are in their future. Branching out into a bold genre, and a new take on the attraction stands them out against the crowd. Even if you aren't a Lovecraft fan, you will still find plenty to engage you! Big shout out to the team too, honestly they have always been absolutely fabulous to work with and genuinely love what they do and want to make the experience the best they can. Fabulous folks!

We had an absolute blast with Enigma Escape Cornwall. The "Fear of the Unknown" challenge was excellent. It ran for 90 minutes which is quite unique for escape rooms as most run for 60 minutes. The price per person was excellent value for 90 minutes. The puzzles were challenging while being intuitive. The attention to detail, quality of props and crafted storyline was fist class. Special shout out to our host Ross. He was very engaging and made the whole experience very memorable. We strongly recommend this to anyone who's a fan of escape rooms to give Enigma Escape Cornwall a go! We'll definitely be back for more!

We came here very last minute, luckily there was a free space when we looked! Oli was amazing and very friendly and welcoming! We did the Bletchley Test and the room was really detailed and really well thought out clues and riddles! Will definitely be back to try the other rooms!

I loved it!! This was such an immersive and fun experience.. from the second we got there it didn’t feel like I was in the center of Truro, it was surprisingly atmospheric as soon as I got to the bottom of the stairs. Melissa was great, she was so enthusiastic and helped us feel instantly excited and ready for the challenge. I don’t want to give anything away, but you really feel like you’re in the story. Myself and my daughter (10years old) did the life after death room, we’ve never done an escape room before. We were both so into it, I could have happily spent hours in there doing it- also in part because I wasn’t very good… I thought I’d got to the last room so was very casual and just took my time and then realised there was way more left to do and ran out of time. We had a couple of clues, they were really cool too because you still had to figure it out, it just kind of nudges you in the right direction. We unfortunately did not complete it, but that really didn’t take away from the experience, it was so much fun and so clever, it was great to do something different! My advice would definitely be to not take the time for granted like I did, try and get through it as fast as you can because you never know how much time the next part will take. Definitely recommend going, the more people you have the easier it will be but two people is still fun and doable and if you’re going with a child like I did that’s also still doable, just be thorough. My daughter loved it and did really good. I can’t wait to come and try...

Our festive escape room experience "Operation Mince Pie" at Enigma Escape Room in Truro, Cornwall, was absolutely superb. Set in an air-raid shelter during Britain’s Blitz, the atmosphere was immersive and full of festive charm.

The experience was cleverly devised, brilliantly put together, with hilarious props and nostalgia, challenging us to complete 12 tasks within an hour. It called upon all our individual skills, making it a true family team effort. Without giving too much away, the puzzles and tasks were creative, engaging, and satisfying to solve. Best of all—we succeeded and earned our mince pies!

Our host Imy was fantastic—welcoming, professional, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. She was always on hand via the screen to offer helpful clues if needed, which added to the experience without ever feeling intrusive.

We’d highly recommend "Operation Mince Pie" (or any of their rooms) to families, friends, or anyone looking for a fun and wholesome group activity. It’s a perfect blend of challenge, teamwork, and...

We recently took on the Fear of the Unknown room at Enigma Escape Cornwall, and it absolutely blew us away. From the moment we stepped inside, the atmosphere was intense, immersive, and brilliantly designed to keep us guessing. Every puzzle felt fresh and challenging, with just the right balance of logic, creativity, and eerie tension.

The theming was brilliant, with stunning attention to detail that had us completely absorbed in the story. The use of lighting, sound, and space was incredibly effective—there were moments that genuinely gave us chills!

The staff were fantastic too—friendly, enthusiastic, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can tell a lot of love and thought went into creating this room.

If you're looking for a thrilling, immersive, and eerie escape experience in Cornwall, Fear of the...
