Yet another review mentioning the "blonde waitress" when are management going to take action and do something about her terrible customer service. I had a really bad response from the Manager with my complaint and it just seems that the staff situation across the board in this cafe have no regard for customers, including management. Another customer in a review is saying she will not be going back. A shame really because a lovely Cafe but unless the staffing issue is dealt with it will go further downhill.
At the time of writing this I cannot see my original review and not sure if it has been taken down but will see if I can find out, not sure if Trip Advisor actually do if requested by a Company.
Today Sunday 18th of October we had a trip to Boscastle and visited a cafe there, great food and exceptional customer service, a young girl served us and was a a lovely chatty girl and she was still at school. So here's an idea to the Manager at the Art Cafe how about sending your staff (one in particular to this cafe to see how GOOD customer service is carried out, shamefull to think a teenage girl know's how to talk to customers as opposed to a more mature person.
Will wait to see if this review is taken down, not sure if my last one was removed because of what I said or because the Manager realised what an awful response he/she had given back to me but maybe he/she was how the staff became so expertly trained in customer service. I don't think finding out your staff member lied to cover herself which she did and to come back to me to tell me that apparently I was raising my voice and gesticulating (which is the lie I am referring to) and that it was all my fault is appalling when he/she was not there.
I have asked my husband how he saw it (but obviously his view of it would be ignored because it would be said he was defending me) but he said no way was I behaving as stated by the blonde waitress, in fact, he said I did not even...
Read moreFor the small amount of money that was taken off a vegan sausage roll, after I asked for it as a take-away without the salad & crisps, it has to be the most expensive and smallest I've ever bought.
To top that a female member of staff (blonde hair) who was wearing a mask exempt lanyard, seemed to think this also meant she is exempt from social distancing.
This is very poor health & safety in the current climate and it was almost laughable when another staff member asked me to step away from the counter whilst awaiting my expensive vegan sausage roll, because they are 'trying to do their bit to keep everyone safe'!!
Miss exempt then proceeded to walk right up to me to hand me my take away, when it was Eventually ready, and looked me up & down in disgust, then smirked when I stepped back and held my arm out at full length.
You have tables and other suitable areas you can place take away items down on for the customer to pick up, especially when the member of staff is not wearing a mask.
I am trying to support local businesses as much as possible, but I certainly won’t be supporting...
