The only reason I'm not leaving a 1 star review is because the food is really nice, but the waiting times were absolutely ridiculous and unfortunately this is not the first time it's happened. This was the longest I'd ever waited for a food delivery - over 2 and a half hours! When I ordered the food it said it would be here within 70 minutes, so it was more than double that. I phoned up and spoke to a woman who said that our order would be the next car out and that delivery was taking so long because its the last Saturday of the month and people had just been paid. Waited a whole hour until I had to phone her again since the food still hadn't arrived, and she told me this time that this was because they had to remake a lot of food?? The worst part of all is that there was no sincere apology for this and no compensation or anything offered, the woman was making me feel guilty for phoning back/asking why it was taking so long. Even the delivery driver didn't bother to apologise for such a long wait either. I understand that these things can happen but the way it was handled was pretty unfair and a better system needs to be put in place for sure (i.e why did they have to remake so much food??). So it's safe to say I won't be ordering from here again. Should be offered a refund of some sort at the very least for having to wait as long as over 2 and a half hours. It's the longest I've ever waited...
Read moreRight. Here's what you need to know. Order directly from them. It's cheaper and they prefer it. Plus it's super fast. If you can pick up in store it's even faster. I once ordered and went to get the cash out to pay and it was ready by the time I came back. It's really great being able to order a quorn version of pretty much everything on the menu but I'm personally disappointed that they use silken tofu versus firm tofu. There is a distinct difference and frankly silken tofu is the devil's work and I hate it. I would LOVE them to switch out to firm tofu because it stands up to battering and deep frying SO MUCH BETTER. But perhaps it's the chefs preference. God knows why though. Silken tofu can bite the weenie. I would also recommend that if you're ordering the salt and chilli fries (which of course you are, come on) ask that they leave out the onions as I find they make the batter go soggy in the approx 15 seconds between me receiving the chips and jamming handfuls into my mouth. So no onions, order direct, pick up in store, enter food...
Read moreReally disappointed, ordered a collection last night (which was far more expensive than any other Chinese in Milngavie so my standards were high). I have an onion allergy, so when placing the order I specifically told the person I have an onion allergy and would like the dish with no onions, she said that was fine. When I was half way through eating my food I realised that my chicken was covered in little brown things which I assumed to be part of the salt and chilli mix? After looking further my family realised they had put crispy onions in my dish after specifically asking for none. Obviously crispy onions don't look like normal onions so it was very hard to actually make out what they were. Absolutely outrageous from the restaurant, exchanging the onions in the dish for... a different type of onions? This could have been a lot more serious and I wouldn't advise going here if you have any allergies as there is clearly not very much care taken whilst...
