It is usually a good experience, but I take a dim view of when security chooses to treat people who are taking photographs with such high degrees of suspicion. Most people do not take photographs for sinister reasons and want to share their experiences with others. It is disappointing when you take an interest in something, only to be regarded as some form of criminal. The World has changed immensely and it is interesting to see the way in which signs on the ground have been used to guide people and also to observe the degree to which this is being adhered. I do concede that there is a need for vigilance, but there also needs to be appreciation for the beauty of photography. What others find innocuous, others find interesting. It is an interesting mix of shops and usually very busy at the weekend. It would also be nice if the Mr Simms Sweet Shoppe could be expanded as the shop is quite small and usually extremely crowded.

The best place in Guildford. The town centre. It like the major place if you want to do anything in Guildford. All major shops are in it and surrounded by other stores like Marks and Spencer, White Lion walk, poundland, and other shops and stores. The central bus station is just right in there and you can travel to anywhere by bus from there. Just 2 minutes away is the train station also. Nice place.

The large walk through shopping mall for anyone walking to the main shopping centre from the Railway Station. Featuring a wide range of retail outlets including HMV, MUJI, sunglasses suppliers, mobile phone shops, clothes shops, eateries both on ground and first floors, accessed by lift or escalator. Even has cash dispensers! Photo's shown relate to Holy Trinity Church at the top of the High Street.

Well what a mixture! Firstly and the only reason why this place should get any stars is for the young lad that served us at el mexicano in the food court polite, informative and funny too! Then there was KFC, oh dear! I have never experienced service like it! And will be reviewing it separately! After we had finally got our chicken and my eldest son had by then already finished his burrito we sat down. The youngest was restless so we let him play in the small soft play with his older brother watching sitting on the parent seats. We know this because we were sitting right next to the soft play! A jobs worth security guard came over and rudely ask my eldest to "GET OUT" as he was to big to be in there. He's 4'11 now that to me says the friary expect the adults of this world to be hobbits! Obviously the security wanted to show his authority to a 9 year old boy. Well he met his match when my wife also 4"11 interrupted his march of power and unsurprisingly very quickly changed his attitude! Needless to say I think we will stop venturing out and just stick...
