Update: emailed formal complaint and recieved a prompt reaponse within 2 hours and a goodwill gesture was offered so not too bad afterall. Just need to sack that poor excuse of an employee!
Shocking customer service by an employee named "Becca". Ordered 2 capachinos to take away, whilst waiting for my drinks to be made another customer approached to inform that her cappachinos we half full with milk and the other half foam/frof. She was told by Becca "cappachinos are half frof next time order a latte then" in an abrupt manner. The lady looked confused stating she always has cappachinos without such an issue.
Therefore when I got my 2 capachinos one was full 3/4 coffee/frof and the second one 2/2 being very light in weight. I complained to Becca, who then snatched the more full drink from me and said "I will take some out the the other then, next time order a latte" (suggesting she would poor out some of the full one) whilst holding the cup stating "your only meant to get half coffee and half frof" in an abrupt manner. I questioned this given I ordered two of the same drinks yet both varied in weight. She Just rolled her eyes and walked off. I informed her that her attitude was appalling and highlighted the poor level of service she had provided, walking off and being rude when being asked a valid question. I would never purchase any drinks from there again.
Becca is in urgent need of training in customer service in terms of how to communicate effectively and to at least listen to customers rather than act like a...
Read moreAs I walked into my local café to order my matcha, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a warm smile from the barista. This cheerful welcome was a refreshing change, as I often noticed that many of the staff seemed less enthusiastic about making matcha in my local cafe. However, today was different. We struck up a delightful conversation that brightened my day and lifted my spirits. The positive energy from our exchange stayed with me, and I found myself radiating those good vibes throughout my workday.I can't quite recall the name of the staff member, but I remember she had striking red hair. I believe her name might have been either Molly or Morgan I apologize for completely losing track of her name, but I sincerely hope she receives the praise she truly deserves for her hard work and dedicationMany people dismiss baristas as just coffee makers, but their demeanor can significantly influence how individuals begin their day. A friendly smile, a warm greeting, or even a simple conversation can create a ripple effect, setting a positive tone that resonates throughout the morning. The energy they bring to the counter has the power to uplift spirits, making each cup of coffee not just a beverage, but a catalyst for a...
Read moreWent in to try the Matcha Latte my friend was raving about. There was a que of 6 people and 3 staff member working on the line. One of them stepped out from behind the counter to ask for my order so to speed up the service. I thought it was really nice and efficient. At the till there was another member of staff who took my payment and complemented on my mask (it's a smiling face) so he earned a 50p tip for that đ. I didn't have to wait long but when I got to the en of the counter I could see all the way to the back as their staff door was open. I thought that was very unprofessional. I could see a table with drinks for the staff, a hoover, mop bucket, various bits and bobs and 2 ladies at a desk working on a computer and phone. I could have used withouth that untidy sight. The latte was perfectly served and despite acknowledging that my friend is crazy and matcha tastes awful after the first couple of sips I did finish it. I will still return as the service was great and I generally like Sturbucks products but they need to shut...
