A must see place if you go to Hornsea. For a fiver you can go back in time roughly 300 years when the Burns family occupied the site as a farm. There are different areas to explore and they have I believe an incredible amount of implement and equipment to see. Who would have guessed that at the turn of the last century(and probably before that) they had pressure cookers and water filters. They also as you move through the different rooms a written explanation of the things your looking at and some background info of your surroundings. A very interesting museum well worth the fiver. Read moreThis place is a little gem of a place that I bet a lot of people just walk past but let me tell you this is one place in hornsea that is really worth a visit. If you like thing of a bygone era that have ben kept in tip top condition and you like how communities worked well you will love it here. Some of the rooms have audio description.it was a simpler life back then and I think we tend to forget our heritage. The entrance fee is very cheap and the ticket last you all season so you can come and go as many times as you wish.
