Took my two kids (aged 4 and 6) for an afternoon. It's a small but brilliant local museum with a lot to see and entry is FREE. We had a great time looking at the Steyning Man skeleton, playing dressing up, spotting the museum mice toys and opening drawers and boxes of exhibits. The staff were wonderful with the kids too and really got them engaged...

As a new resident of Steyning I'm very interested in its history. The museum does a stunning job in this. Very well laid out, the organisers clearly have a love of Steyning and a deep appreciation of history. So much to see (and read), don't miss Steyning Man. Super friendly staff, always willing to delve into the museum's archives to find that...

I attended Steyning Grammar School class 1991 and never thought to visit here. Yesterday I journeyed from Greater London City to visit especially.

I thought highly of this museum as i would think most villages and towns in United Kingdom do NOT have museums about there locality.
