Monks Cross shopping centre is quiet handy for me as it's just 15 minutes away. We will have the constant discussion about out of town shopping affecting our high street, but as someone with a disability, it's mostly about the parking. At Monks Cross I can park just yards from the shop I need to visit, whereas in town it's just so much more difficult. The centre is also going through an upgrade, partly due the the football stadium rebuild, and it's looking like it's improving on it's already accessible areas. There are good restrooms and from what I've seen, the vast majority of the shops and eating places are wheelchair accessible. All in all a good place to visit with the usual array of shops. Don't be caught out. The experience was not...

I did this through their appeals website and wrote a supporting statement explaining this. They have since emailed me to confirm that they have quashed the fine. So people, please dispute it, provide evidence and explain why you stayed over, and you shouldn't...
