(Please Note: This is against Management and Upper Management, not the Crew)
I have been to this Burger King a few times, and whenever I did go my food has always usually been delicious. This review isn't a complain about the quality of their food. However, on the I pre-ordered my food about 7pm and arrived 5 minutes past. It was relatively busy, some people before me were still waiting on their food, some waiting at the till. There was only 2 members of staff working in the kitchen for all of us. I knew in my gut I wouldn't get my order for nearly an hour, but decided to wait. I noticed some customers who ordered after me were able to get their orders first. I noticed on had two orders which seemed like 2 burgers and fries with drinks total while mine was a Whopper only lettuce and ketchup meal. I sat down and waited until about 7:40pm, I had to get a bus before it got too late. I did try and mention to not worry about my order but the two staff were very busy.
They are not to blame but its Burger King Management are to blame, there should be at least 3-4 staff working to get these orders out and not slaving 2 staff members who have a lot on their shoulders. The Management is terrible and the two staff members don't deserve to be put in this type of work environment. I'm shocked they allow this to happen to their stores and staff.
There is no indication of a long wait time or estimate for the orders, whoever is the Regional Operations Manager needs to take a good look at what's under the surface instead of what's above it.
Sadly, while the food is delicious when its served, if you're visiting during the evening before they close. Please order at least 15-30 minutes before on the app. I don't think I'll be coming back unless there's a better change not just for the customers but for the staff...
Read moreI feel sorry for the staff here. It obviously seems to be chronically understaffed to me as they always look stressed out. It would appear also that for them to get food out it comes at the cost of wiping tables and keeping the place looking clean as it often appears messy. However I've never had to wait long for my food but now I choose to eat it in my car. Average rating comes from the fact I've visited this place 8 or 10 times now on a roughly 5 to 6 weekly basis tops and even being that irregular a visitor the self order machines have not been working at least 4 or 5 of those times so roughly 40% or 50% of the time for me. Wouldn't bother me that much if they just put signs out to say but on my last visit all of them appeared to not work but one. The last one lets you make an order but then you can't pay. I've also had this scenario a couple of times there too. People would probably appreciate signs simply saying they are out of order rather than letting people try and find out for themselves. They never seem to put signs on to say they are out of order so I imagine that annoys a lot of customers. Only experience this issue at the Monks Cross branch. Clifton moor is still the better one in my opinion. Maybe a couple of extra staff and a little bit more focus on the cleaning of the tables would lift this place a lot. Read moreI would like to say that when we’d first gone two weeks ago the food was absolutely amazing everything was still steaming and far from dry. Today we went for a second time expecting the same as the first but first time we were handed the wrong food so we sent it back and was apologised to and supposedly given the right food but instead my sister was given the opposite of a cheese melt, and I was given a very dry double cheese burger that was cold and had some freezing bacon slapped on top of it which I asked for no bacon. We decided not to go back again expecting that the same would happen and they’d just remove the bacon and give us it back. They were telling us they didn’t have bottled water or other bottled drinks but we’re giving them out to the just eats orders fair enough but they had not only to us but the pair behind us, poured bottled drinks into cups instead of using the machine like they usually would.
