I've become a big fan of Starbucks coffee recently but I've got to say the shop can sometimes be a little bit of a let down. The staff are always busy and do the best they can but at times I've had 30 + minutes waiting for a drink and recently had a wait of 45mins. I feel when this happens the staff should make people aware of how long the wait could be. As its lead to alot of very unhappy customers. Often when I've been in the tables have had cups left on there and can be on there for a decent length of time and I've seen this on regular occasions. Also the toilets can be pretty disgusting at times again just lack of cleaning. I do not think this is staff not doing there jobs as they are always pleasant and friendly whenever I've been in there. I think it's often a case of under staffing at busy times or just general lack of staff. It's a shame because it let's the place down. I've experienced similar in both Starbucks on Monks cross York and in York...

Their warmth and hospitality are great and so warming! In an age where genuine connections in day to day life can feel rare, especially in a chain establishment like Starbucks, the team here consistently goes above and beyond. They not only greet you warmly but also take a sincere interest in how you're doing. It's an experience comparable to that of an independent café, rather than just another shop in a corporate chain. - I almost didn't mention the coffee as that, for me, isn't number 1 priority! Its...
Read moreVisited the the coffee shop at Monks Cross just outside York. A dark dated unit with dirty outside tables. Very nice friendly young lady took my order, I was in the queue for my coffee, when I got to the front the barista turned and walked off. The customer behind me commented how rude he thought the young man was. His place was taken by another young man who didn't look or speak to me but carried on his conversation with another member of staff !!. Considering it's next door to a Costa Coffee I'm surprised this Starbucks survives. I still goes because it's my...
