Anglican Diocese of Leeds — Attraction in Leeds

A Christian organisation strangely devoid of compassion and humanity. I rented a property from the diocese along with my wife and four young children. We were assured it would be a long-term let and we set about improving the property, given the excellent tenants that we are. Out of the blue we received a no-fault eviction notice and my family and I nearly ended up homeless. Only the tremendous kindness of a letting agent saved us. There was absolutely no compassion or concern shown by the Diocese towards us (quite the opposite), there was no negotiation about our length of stay, and real coldness towards us when they wanted to arrange a time to show a future employee around the property. We were told to 'lock our dog in a room' if visitors were to enter whilst we were out. So cruel. All this despite the fact that we had been model tenants. Not surprisingly these events had a terrible effect on our mental health and two of my children had to move school at short notice. Please do NOT rent a property from this organisation and I would encourage good Christians within the organisation to call out it's terrible,...
