Hidden behind the Old Deans Gardens Wall on Eastgate, the entrance is Gated and to the left of the main entrance to The Cathedral on Minster Yard. The Gardens are kept beautiful, you can make a wish as you throw a coin in the Fountain. The Cafe is spacious and well presented. The Coffee is amazing, so are the cakes. If visiting in a large group, booking is advised due to the increasing volume of visitors, it can get really busy. The Shop has a fabulous range of local artists Paintings, Jewellery, Ornaments and Glass Art. There are a tasty assortment of Jams, Chutneys and a Biscuit selection too. The Lincoln Cathedral momentos and souveniers are plentiful here. If purchasing prezzies the Staff will be happy to gift wrap them, just ask. All staff are well mannered and super helpful in every way. Well...

Granted, they did rectify this, but they were slow about it and quite rude. In total our party spent in excess of £80. We expected better service than we received and certainly that our food be served on actual plates. Price example. Hot Chocolate £3, Baileys Hot Chocolate £6, turkey dinner wrap £10. Happy to pay such prices if things are freshly cooked, served hot, and on plates, unfortunately they fell well below an accepted level of service. The only reason they have 2 stars is because they...

I've visited a few times when its super busy and service can be a little slow, however this visit was perfect from start to finish. £11.50 for a full English; I couldn't go every week for that price (even though i want too!) but I will definitely be returning and recommending it to...
