The Escape Game Swansea — Attraction in Llansamlet

I'm giving 3 stars today based on how our experience went this afternoon. First up, if you're a seasoned escapologist then you will probably love these games. We did Alcatraz, the easiest of those available, and even this was challenging! We didn't escape but got probably 2/3 of the way through. However our beef with today was that the room wasn't set correctly so we never could have escaped even if we'd worked out everything up to a certain point, so felt a bit miffed by this (I won't say what the fault was as I don't want to give things away if you're planning on going). But if you do, please talk to each other lot - you'll need to! We did enjoy it but weren't very happy that we couldn't have escaped today even if we'd solved...

Had a really nice time here, we had I think Joseph? As our game master and he was an absolute pleasure, super friendly and chill. Family is pretty dysfunctional so I had no expectations of winning, and we didn't, but he came in to help when we lost a key, and showed us at the end what we were missing and explained it without making us feel daft. Horror twists for halloween made the room unnerving but not too scary, which I liked, and the puzzles were challenging, as they should be. The staff were really nice and it was quite fun, but it costs £88 for 4 of us and bits of the room were broken. A locker was mistakenly left open so we had clues which we didnt know were now redundant and we wasted our time trying to figure them out. When we finally got the exit code, the keypad didnt work. Apparently the torch was meant to be dim, but just didnt work at all, so we wasted loads of time trying to see the codes on the locks. It was ok, but for how much it costs, should...
