I had just attended mass at all saints margaret street, and saw as I was walking by that this church was open. I made the most terrible mistake of trying to get in to look around and perhaps even pray. Some bloke stopped me and said "this is a church you can't just walk in" in that we're better than you voice. Then he said we have a meeting on, well if he had lead with "sorry we have a meeting on" then I would be less indignant. Read moreGreat for visitors. Nice location, friendly welcome and some of the older staff seem genuinely lovely. They also do some volunteering and other activities. Worship is a bit Salvation Army style. The various programmes like Roots etc can be very hit and miss as well as the groups and their leaders. Some i looked forward going to while others felt completely flat and scripture discussion irrelevant or misunderstood or lacked substance or structure. Can also be hard to connect with people and when you do you'll quickly get cut off by someone else.
