I had just attended mass at all saints margaret street, and saw as I was walking by that this church was open. I made the most terrible mistake of trying to get in to look around and perhaps even pray. Some bloke stopped me and said "this is a church you can't just walk in" in that we're better than you voice. Then he said we have a meeting on, well if he had lead with "sorry we have a meeting on" then I would be less indignant. I am fortunate enough to have never been to a church where they show such unChrist like rudeness and contempt, untill now. Go to All sainst they're far nicer this sort of thing would not...

Great for visitors. Nice location, friendly welcome and some of the older staff seem genuinely lovely. They also do some volunteering and other activities. Worship is a bit Salvation Army style. The various programmes like Roots etc can be very hit and miss as well as the groups and their leaders. Some i looked forward going to while others felt completely flat and scripture discussion irrelevant or misunderstood or lacked substance or structure. Can also be hard to connect with people and when you do you'll quickly get cut off by someone else.

Disclosure: my denomination is not same...

Big church next to BBC Broadcasting House, near to Oxford Circus tube, and Oxford Street / Regents Street. It's Anglican by denomination and full of friendly welcoming people. Also has a great worldwide reputation for its Biblical teaching, and rich variety of musical worship too. Somewhat evangelical in its approach and therefore not known to be stereotypically 'stuffy' old high church, it's also a haven of tranquillity amidst a very bustling West End, right outside its front door. A delightful piece of Nash...

This is a beautiful church right next door to the BBC. The architect was John Nash, The Prince Regent's architect. Nash was responsible for the majestic sweeping curve design of Regent's Street along with Regent's Park and The Royal Pavilion Brighton. Outside the church is a bust of this remarkable architect, so when you're next in the West End, go and have a look at the face of the man responsible for the beauty of Regent's Street. Nearest Tube- Oxford Circus

All Souls Church is situated on Langham Place, just off Regent Street, in the Marylebone area of London. Its central location makes it easily accessible to both locals and tourists. The church building itself is an architectural landmark, featuring a grand neoclassical facade and a distinctive dome. Inside, visitors can admire beautiful stained glass windows, intricate woodwork, and other ornate details.

This church, designed by John Nash to complete his scheme for Regent Street, was consecrated on 25th November 1824. Aerial bombardment on 8th December 1940 made it unusable but it was re-opened for worship on 29th April 1951. A major construction took place from 1st May 1975 including the provision of the new Waldegrave Hall and the Church was re-opened on 2nd November 1976.
