Been seeing Dr Zhang for almost a year. It is like she has miraculous powers compared to many TCM doctors I've seen before. With just a few needles and her lamp she is able to really open and tonify the meridians. I feel both more energised after each session but also cumulatively it seems like the floor raises and I never go back down to being as low as before. This is better than others I've tried and I've had some really good ones who did a lot to help me including a professor from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine (the birthplace of TCM) and an advisor to the WHO on TCM. It is almost as if she is undoing the karmic knots that get our meridian system in such an imbalance, so I consider her an especially talented practitioner.

One other thing I'll say is that many Chinese operated clinics are rather cold or reserved to the point where they can seem unfriendly. I know it may be the language barrier, but even with that one can still smile.

At Artemis, it was very different from that. Everyone was very friendly from day one, making me feel at ease and welcome, offering a glass of water after a session and just generally being nice. So as well as getting a good treatment each time, I felt very at ease and comfortable being there which made coming for treatments often...

This is a new place I tried and I was happily surprised by the service.

Firstly the premises are in very good condition and has a great atmosphere but does not compare to the actual massage.

I came to Artemis with a huge upper back and muscle pain. When I woke up that morning , I could hardly get out of bed or move my head and arms . Dr Zhang suggested acupuncture, cupping and massage (a lot to take in one day, I thought), which worked so well, that I could easily move my arms, my head and most importantly I did not have to cancel my flight, booked for next day.
