Came here to play basketball and I came across the worst basketball court I have ever seen. There were chips in the ground under the hoop, the floor was gravel, the walls and gates were severely rusting, the hoop was well over 10 ft high, and for someone who plays basketball on a regular basis, let me tell you this completely ruins the feel for the game and it is so awkward. Not to mention it does NOT makes you any better. The walls seemed decades old and covered in rust. It seems it could topple over just by blowing on it. It was covered in rust and the gates were antique. Me and my brother sucked in our bellies and squeezed through the gap left by the door so we wouldn't make contact with the walls and gate. There are rocks all over the floor which is stupid considering it is an area for ball games, and one where you happen to bounce it on the floor! ( Funnily enough :] ) It is not just the cage as some footpaths were not flat at all. I found a patch where it curved upwards for quite a while and felt hollow when I jumped on it. It also made a hollow sound when I bounced the ball. I am more than disappointed, never coming here again. From now on I will make my 30 minute journey to a park with a normal hoop and decent court than walk 10 minutes to the hell of all "cages".
Please fix this trash, and your whole...
Read moreAbsolutely beautiful park, a diamond in the dirt of Hayes... This park has a wide variety of stunning trees, beautiful powers, gardens, shrubs, it has the lot in terms of colours!
They are large playing areas for kids, and even for adults playing sports. It's a great park to have a run through too!
There is a small shop selling ice cream and a few other bits (although no ice! 😂).
I would keep coming back to this park week after week but unfortunately I have moved away this week, I will miss it greatly.
It's by far the best park in the Hayes area, you must go check it out during a hot day, bring a picnic set and enjoy the scenery as it's beautiful!
I found two great places in my last week in Hayes, and they are literally the only two things I will miss! Hayes is a dump, but this park stands out as a place of beauty.
Now I don't like to keep going on and on and on about it, but the park is stunning during the Spring and Summer, plus I would like to get my first 200 word review, but this place FOR SURE deserves such a long review.
Make sure you keep yourself hydrated at all times and enjoy the day here in Berra Hall Park!

P.S. I've moved out of London to a beautiful area full of parks and greenery, and from what I've seen so far it's...
Read moreWot an absolute disappointment!!! Wot's happened to our community annual carnival??? I remember going to this most looked forward to event when I was a child, I am now grandmother to 19 grandchildren and they now enjoy going and meeting up with family and friends. I thought last year was dismal and lacked the spark of previous years but this year was even worse, as we approached the entrance, a father was leaving with his children and he said " I wouldn't bother mate". He was so right, I wish we hadn't, so come on hilligdon council sort this for next year or I'm sad to say our community will...
