Karahi Junction Indian Restaurant Hayes — Restaurant in London

I feel really disappointed leaving a negative review but I'm very upset by their food. Staff were good. I have been going to this restaurant since it opened, a long time. I recently took my family there after a year long and I was not impressed.

Staff are good no complains. The food was very disappointing. Butter chicken portion was full of the gravy with 4 tiny pieces of chicken amongst us 3 people. The karahi paneer and and lamb karahi was exactly the same however the lamb was nothing more than 4 pieces and most of it was bone, again. The dishes had more masala than the actual food. Even the poppadoms served were burnt but we looked past that at the initial stage. Ordered a large salad with 3 tomato wedges and loads more carrots. The mixed grill we ordered as starters consisted of mostly uncooked lamb chops and severely pink from the inside as with the chicken tikka. I didn't want to ruin it for my family but they noticed. It's always busy which is good, nice atmosphere and food was always great despite being busy but this time I felt quite upset with the whole experience. Awful experience. My father went to a party there, and was asked to leave after 2 hours, when questioned the restaurant stated it was their policy to leave after 2 hours but no one had told the person who booked the table. Afterwards the staff gave my father attitude while trying to force him, after explaining that they will leave after they ate, the manager arrived and while the group was trying to explain the situation, the manager just smiled but did nothing (which I have video proof of). The situation ended with my father being assaulted by at least 20 people resulting with a head injury, knee injury, elbow injury and blood in his eye. Not once did the restaurant attempt to contact the police, contact an ambulance or stop the fight. When my mother and I went to collect my father in order to take him to the hospital, my mother attempted to find out what had actually occured and instead of answering, forced her out of the building, slapped her and pushed her out.

Clearly something is wrong with this restaurant if they treat their guests like this. I wanted to give 0 stars but unfortunately this wouldn't let me post this review without the actual...

POOR EXPERIENCE & RACIST BEHAVIOUR!

If i could do 0 stars I would. Let's start this review off with the quality of the food... I've never in my been given such a poor korma and masala in my life. Its was shocking, the claimed to be (chef) have put no love or effort into the dishes what's so ever. As a chef myself I know what consistency a curry should be ( thick, bursting with flavors) therefore this restaurant practically served me dish water and called it a curry. When we try to get this resolved over the phone, a member from the restaurant asked if I could drop of the entire order back to them and replace it.

I agreed... I arrive and hand them the poorly cooked meal in hopes of having it replenished. I then receive my order back and was told they can't thicken my currys and it went into a microwave.. and they also handed me back the original cold rice, lamb chops and narn. Nothing freshly got cooked or replenished. It got microwaved!!!! There behaviour towards me made me feel there's a problem because im a different culture.
