Blue Tit Dalston — Attraction in London

Just WOW. I was greeted by the very friendly Regan at the front desk, along with Matt the owner/founder of Blue Tit. I was a very last minute walk in (which I was sorry about but I was in desperate need of a blow out) nonetheless Matt was so kind and immediately asked Bradley if he could take me as a last client. I was treated like I was at home, on their cozy couch with a glass of white wine. I was already in awe at the service and I hadn’t even had my hair done yet. I then received the most amazing shampoo from Mannos, who is an absolute doll. I may have dozed off in the shampoo bowl, so good. Haha. Even the other stylists walking around just carried a good aura and were so friendly! I sat in Bradleys chair explaining what I had in mind. We both blurted out the same idea which made me feel safe, I love a good Farrah Fawcett look! He absolutely executed, and I felt more beautiful than I have in a long time.. inside and out. Bradley is so extremely talented, he was attentive to my concerns and wants and he has a stunning personality to match. I couldn’t stop smiling about my hair the whole week. LOVE this place, LOVE the people. They are an absolute must!

To quote fleabag: ‘HAIR IS EVERYTHING’ and mine has been in the best of hands with PATRIC at BlueTit Dalston since 2019. Finding a new hairstylist after moving abroad can be a bit unnerving but Patric made me feel comfortable from the first moment. Listening to what I like, how I normally style my hair and providing excellent, helpful and realistic advice of what suits me and how it will work with the structure and colour of my hair (thick, heavy, wavy & dark brown) we embarked on a journey - from the first cut, to reviving my hair after lockdown wearing it long with some layers, cutting a new fringe, growing that fringe out through beautiful stages of curtain bangs that flattered my face and cheekbones to returning to my blunt bob (very sharp and precise and, in Patric’s words, ‘not wiggy’) as well as experimenting with various brown tones and even blond highlights and creative colours - my hair never looked better, got more compliments and I never looked back. Had such a lovely experience here! The customer service is excellent - led by Joe, the salon manager, who is sooo friendly. I called up to ask for advice as to what appointment to book, and he was very helpful. When I arrived at the salon I was treated like a regular even although I've only been there once before, a few years ago! I think I was asked 4 times if I wanted a drink which is a good reflection of the general customer service ethic here. The vibe in the salon is great - beautiful decor, incense burning at the front desk, great music. I was in for a colour overhaul and a trim. Ellie did my colour, totally understood what I was looking for, and executed it so well. She was also super friendly and we had a genuinely really interesting, unforced conversation. Pabina did my cut, and whilst I was only looking for a trim as I'm growing my hair out, she somehow managed to do so much with just a trim and really improve the overall look of my hairstyle as well. Skills! Needless to say, I'd highly recommend these guys and I'm looking forward to my next...
