Terrible experience. We went to the Aspire lounge and were told we couldnāt go in because we hadnāt pre-booked. So we went to the No.1 lounge instead. Our 6 month old baby was restless because she needed a feed. We stand in the No.1 lounge queue for 10 minutes only to be told by the staff that the system is down and they will only accept pre-bookings. Everyone else needs to go to the Aspire Lounge and they have let Aspire lounge know that a number of people are making their way there. All we wanted to do was feed and change our daughter - we asked if we could literally do that and then leave. We were told no, go to the Aspire lounge. So we make our way back in to the Aspire lounge and explain what has happened to the Sikh employee and he tells me that I have misunderstood and that he did not tell dragon pass members to come to the Aspire lounge. He calls no.1 lounge and apparently we need to join a waiting room so again I explained that they were only letting prebookings in because the system was down and they told everyone else to go to the Aspire lounge. Another Indian traveller comes in with the same story, another Chinese couple come in with the same story but the Sikh employee would not accept it. Again we said, can we please just feed and change our 6 month old daughter and we will leave - answer: no. But I could have accepted all of this but then his colleague (Eastern European guy, I think his name was Andryz or along those lines) butts in giving us attitude, speaking over us etc. in the end I lost my temper and left. Terrible customer service, terrible communication between the two lounges and disgraceful customer service. When families are travelling together, try to be accommodating especially given it was your systems that...
Read moreDONT WASTE YOUR MONEY...Food is unbelievably terrible...disgusting chicken & Broccoli sauce, only one veggie option butternut squash kinda stew or watery tomato sause pulled pork, only Rice no chips etc. There is a few salad items, but potatoe salad so rock hard, it would bounce off the floor if fell of your plate. Cheese and crackers are best. No childrens food menu at all....such a bad menu & bad service.. Only sweet/ pudding on offer items is supermarket mince pies and a dry pancake. If you dont like either...your screwed. Cant believe we paid £65 for two people for here, we could have bought a lovely large quality breakfast in one of the restaurants outside such as a Wetherspoon etc. Will never book Aspire area again. Blonde hair host with glasses walking around is quite rude to so many people, she spoke to the bar staff terrible, i noticed on four occasions she was rude with passengers. One guy at the bar wanted a prosecco for his wife, she pushed past everyone queuing ahead of the barmaid stating you pay extra charge £6. All the passengers in line where surprised by her attitude. As a business owner myself and been in hospitality, i feel she is not the best person suited for this role. Management, senior cook or Chef, if you are reading your reviews regular, do something fast to upgrade your quality & menu choices of the food on offer, as it stands today, 27/12/24, the food was disgraceful & unacceptable for the price charged. .At least one thing is for sure, having unlimited alcohol, it will make your horrible food taste...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited the No1 Lounge, and I have to say, it was one of the most disappointing lounge experiences Iāve ever had.
First off, the food was simply unacceptable. It was clear that what was being served was straight out of the microwave and barely edible. I expected a relaxing pre-flight meal, but instead, I was met with bland, tasteless options that felt more like a last-minute convenience store grab than something fit for a lounge setting.
As a first-timer, I found the atmosphere to be chaotic and overcrowded. The layout was confusing, and there was no assistance to help navigate the space. I wandered around aimlessly, hoping to find a quiet corner or someone to help me out, but all I got was frustration from the large crowds.
To make matters worse, I learned that they have restricted alcohol service at certain times, but no one was able to provide any clear information about when those times actually were. I felt completely left in the dark and unable to enjoy a drink to unwind before my flight.
The staff appeared disinterested and rarely made an appearance; when they did, they seemed overwhelmed and unwilling to provide any assistance. It was almost as if they were just going through the motions rather than offering any actual customer service.
Overall, my visit to the No1 Lounge was the worst lounge experience Iāve ever had. With so many better options available, I would not...
