Booked Edward as a punt after doing a frantic Google search for a private chef to cater for a special occasion. The reviews were what made me make the decision and I'm so very pleased I went with my instinct. Edward responded straight away every time, was readily available to talk through our requirements, was flexible and so easy to get along with. That was my impression before we even got to the meal. When it came to the meal, my guests and myself were absolutely blown away by the professional yet complety approachable manner ( both Edward and Jacob the sommelier), to the efficient way they prepped, readied the table and then served the exquisite food and wine. The menu was perfectly created, well described to us, the wine pairing was stunning and the service second to none. My guests and myself felt utterly spoiled by the beautiful food and wine. Both Edward and Jacob were there when we wanted and vanished when we didn't. They cleared up everything and even left us whatever was left over and a little treat for the next morning. Whilst the name ZEST X LDN might not be the easiest to remember, the culinary experience delivered by the team was unforgettable. We contacted ZEST X LDN to ask if they were available for a private dinner for 10 guests. Edward, the founder, responded to our email request immediately and it was then an easy and seamless process to choose our menu and in addition, 3 canapés from a long and delicious list. All cutlery, crockery and glassware was bought with the food on the day and the real surprise was when Edward turned up with Jacob, the maitre’d who ensured the evening ran like clockwork. Having served delicious canapés with the champagne, a fabulous 3 course dinner with wine and the cheese we provided, Edward and Jacob left the kitchen in an immaculate condition. It really is the height of luxury when you feel like you have been to an exceptional restaurant in your own home.
