In all honestly First call is convenient at times because some months there is work everyday (December) and some months you won't get a singls shift.. not one (January) so it is impossible to plan ahead it all honestly. Being the first Agency I've had worked for I can't compare them to other agency although I do know that they can either call you last minute or give you work I. Advance nothing new there. The pay is not great and lost jobs are £7.70 the highest being £8.50 of your lucky that being night shifts but majority being £7.70. Many times in the past they have not paid on time I don't know how they manage there time sheets/ payroll. They give you a contact number to contact when your looking for work but most times do not respond unless they need you urgently. The two point of contact for work I believe are Iman and Chris, Chris is generously a nice guy and very easy to communicate with never rude speaks with a very polite toned manner and I don't believe anyone would argue with that statement whereas Iman can have her nice days depending on her mood she comes across very arrogant, speaks very sturn and generally just rude tbh she does have her nice days it could be down to mood swings.. if Chris is controlling the phone ( they take turns weekly) he tends to respond to text message abs phone calls and I would prefer to speak to him any day of the week but with Iman it ultimately depends on her mood. Ann is the manager of the Tottenham branch and it is always a pleasure speaking to her always a pleasure although it's rare to speak to her often as she is the manager so it usually in regards to pay or a complaint or an update. Read moreGoing back a few years a would have given them a 4/5, they used to be polite, cared about your needs, they were very quick to respond, they didnt pretend you wernt there.. I recently went back to them remembering my last experience and oh how it's changed. Sitting in their branch at Tottenham they act all high and mighty, they pretend you're not even there,talking amoungst themselves about personal business related discutions that they should be having behind closed doors such as money and clients, mentioning names (talk about GDPR...) whilst you awkwardly have to fill in a"scan to apply QR code" even though you have already filled out an application form online. (in my opinion it's just them being lazy) they used to have an indepth talk about where you used to work and what you would like to look for, but for my particular experience recently they didn't even ask, all they asked about was my past jobs, saying they would contact me if they had anything, even though the person I was talking to said they had an ideal job for me based on my previous jobs, but they never got back to me and I had to call several times to inquire if they had anything, to then be told it's not etiquette to ask... (remembering here that they said they would contact me, especially considering they said they had a job in mind that would suit me) it's now been 2 weeks going on 3 and still not heard anything, I've given up phoning because apparently "it's not good etiquette and its not how we do things here". Who ever reads this, do yourself a favour and turn the other way, they do not respect you, they think they're all it. There's plenty of other decent agencies that remember they have clients and actually keep in contact with you and do everything they can to help you find a job.
