Greenwich Park Car Park — Attraction in London

Great park, but parking situation is not good. Firstly you can only park for 4 hrs max. So if you want to pop into London then don't park here. Secondly you can only pay at the machine, so no App. Finally, the park closes in the evening at varying times throughout the year. In December it's 6pm. There is no information to tell you definitively what time the vehicle gates are locked. Tried googling - no answer; searched several websites - no answer; called the in hours and out of hours number - no answer.
