My wife and I stayed for two nights. The best thing about this hotel is the fabulous location - it could not be more convenient for exploring Greenwich and the surrounds, and so handy for markets, restaurants and pubs. The second best thing is the paid off-street parking it has for guests, and then there is the staff who were friendly and very efficient. We did not like the room very much as there was some sort of generator (or large machine) outside our window which we had to close at night because of the noise it made. And then on a personal basis I found that the shower-room was very tiny, I mean I even had problems squatting on the toilet because of the lack of space between my knees and the wall of the shower-room! BUT even worse I also found the shower cubicle to be downright dangerous, the floor was very slippery under the shower, the floor after stepping up to the shower was even more slippery, and what made it very, very dangerous in my opinion was that there was no grab-rails anywhere.

"Superb value in a beautiful location!" I spent a night at Ibis London Greenwich and was struck by its unrivaled location—only 3–5 minutes' walking distance from Cutty Sark, the Maritime Museum, and Greenwich DLR/rail station, so simple to get round Greenwich and into central London. The room was spotless, modern, and functional, with snug and livable dimensions, free Wi-Fi, a tea/coffee machine, and an excellent flat-screen TV. The most impressive was the helpful, speedy staff on the 24‑hour front desk and the relaxed lobby bar, ideal for a soothing drink after a day of sightseeing. I also enjoyed breakfast at the in‑house Banana Tree restaurant, which had a nice continental buffet and hot alternative of food. My only gripe was the compact size of the rooms, which felt a bit snug, but that’s expected at this price point. For what it offers—great location, solid service, clean rooms—it’s excellent value for money. I’d happily stay here again on my next Greenwich trip.

Hotel itself very good for what ibis has always been but the cafe for breakfast was awful. We were quite exciting when we knew it wasn't going to be the usual intercontinental breakfast but it will be at the Cafe Rouge. The hotel gave me the wrong breakfast tickets to start with but they swapped it for me without any hassle then the waiter was very grumpy taking order. I ordered eggs benedict which usually ham but here you have to tell them which one you want. Still, it was salmon when it arrived which I didn't order they took it back and it took forever for the right one to turn up my husband already finished his dish. And the muffins were ridiculously hard impossible to cut with the knife (in the photo I moved the muffins from underneath). The couple next to us walked out because their breakfast was taking too long. I think I don't want to book here again.

Booked into this hotel yesterday. Rooms modern if not small but all ok for a short stay. Brought my mum back to her roots as she left 50 years ago and hasn't been back since... all going great untill we foolishly ate in the cafe rouge next door (door from hotel leads directly into restaurant) we both had lunch in there today. My mum had salmon on a tiny bit of toast with old bits of salad leaves on the side followed by a well done flat piece of 5 oz steak with cold fries. Absolutely hideous food but all that aside..... an hour after eating it she's curled up with severe abdominal pain. Next minute she's vomiting followed by diahreah.... cold sweats ... you name it. I didnt know what to do so hotel called ambulance who then diagnosed food poisoning. The smell of our hotel room coming from the bathroom was of pure fish? The paramedics confirmed it's food poisining from the salmon in cafe rouge. All the superviser did was give me the managers email .. offered no apology or refund. My poor mum has been in bed vomiting and on the toilet all day and still is now. Ruined her stay completely i feel so guilty and bad for her. Hotel ibis have been great though giving me a double room next door to my mum to stay close to her as for the smell of our old room. . CAFE ROUGE ... Awful staff awful food awful service... don't be fooled... looks the part but disgusting inside in every way please please do not waste your money. Also the continental breakfast is literally 1 croissant and a cup of tea. For £7 Vile. CAFE ROUGE 0/10 Ibis...

The hotel at a first sight look like a usual Ibis, but some things let it down. On arrival there is no welcome desk. On arrival didn't see any staff member to check me in so had to look around to find one. The idea of having no welcome desk seems ridiculous to me, if is supposed to make people feel welcome, did exactly the opposite with me in 2 different hotels. On arrival to the room 214, once you open the door there is a funny smell, I wondered if the toilet pipes work properly! The other thing that I found annoying was related with breakfast. I pre-booked online and there was no info about the hotel dont have its own breakfast catering. So I only found out on arrival the breakfast was served in the Cafe Rouge linked to the hotel. in the first morning I went to the Cafe rouge and asked where was the breakfast area and been informed that there wasn't any buffet just by order. Again not been informed and I was time constrained to go for a work meeting. Not been giving the voucher for breakfast in the night before, I only realised I needed one after discussing with the Cafe Rouge staff what my breakfast option were! real lack of information to costumers in this hotel. Breakfast was a sad cooked breakfast, I would rather have some cereal and bread like in normal Ibis you can get. You should make visiable for people when book it to know what they are getting! I wont stay in that...

An efficient and genuine welcome process, not always the norm for coach parties. Our room was an accessible one, not requested but appreciated.|Zip and link bed meant it was 6ft and there were enough power sockets in the right place to recharge our tech (Ibis does have this 21st century essential sussed!)|Excellent temperature control fan, not quite air con but very effective in hot weather|Wet room shower gave us space that a cubicle doesn’t however the floor, which lacked the slope of a wet room was flooded when I finished and needed a bath towel to prevent slipping.|Breakfast was ok. I needed a voucher collected from reception to access a cooked breakfast. First impressions were good, robot helper zipping round and food table looked ok. However not all as it seemed. Only one member of staff on duty and she wasn’t at all welcoming. Help yourself buffet needed explaining, boiling water machine needed 3 different buttons pressed before it dispensed water over the tea bag and the toaster, design similar to domestic but larger, did not automatically switch on heat when bread lowered! |On further inspection food displayed was not inspiring, thin supermarket meat and cheese, limited fruit.|Cooked breakfast was to order, if you could find someone to ask, but was fine and...
