I will start with the bottom line: among all the contractors I have worked with in the process of renovating my flat, John is the only one I would employ again! His experience in planning and fitting kitchens is remarkable and his work ethic is honest and transparent. John supported me throughout the whole project, providing great advice both regarding suppliers and the kitchen planning itself. He project managed the works liaising and coordinating different contractors (i.e rubbish collection, electrician, plumber), alleviating me greatly. His approach was very considerate of me as a customer; every day he left my flat as tidy and as dust free as possible and consistently kept me informed of any changes in the plan and of the inevitable hiccups. I am extremely grateful to John for consulting me before making decisions, so that I could evaluate options and be sure the final result was functional for my specific needs. In my previous experiences I have noticed this way of working is not common - as it might be more time consuming - and I value it immensely. As a customer, in my opinion it is important to be present to offer support as and when needed and ensure there are clear mutual understanding and expectations. I can't speak highly enough of John and his work on our kitchen – we're extremely pleased with how it's turned out. Right from the start, he was enthusiastic about the project (a complete refurbishment of a small kitchen in a top-floor flat, complete with lots of odd angles and a line of cupboards running under the eaves) and confident that he could deal with the challenges it presented. He came up with several ingenious ideas that saved us a considerable amount of money and made even better use of our limited space than the original plan suggested (which was drawn up by another party). The finish he's achieved on our oak worktops is amazing – numerous sands and coats of oil went into them, and it shows. It was also an absolute pleasure to have him around; he's a warm, friendly and trustworthy man. He was great at keeping us informed of how the work was progressing too, regularly updating us on what he planned to do next and what he'd done that day. He also consulted with us on all aspects of the finish in order to achieve exactly what we desired, and left the flat clean and tidy before departing each night. It's clear he takes great pride in his work, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend...

Navigating a large kitchen renovation during a pandemic was never going to be easy, but John was incredible. He was flexible, professional and extremely personable, nothing was ever too much and he was always willing to go the extra mile to make sure things were perfect. Even outside of the kitchen project, when myself and my partner were isolating with covid he was making sure we were all set for food etc.

With John you get a extremely knowledgeable kitchen designer and fitter, who has contacts in every aspect of the trade. He CAD designed and organized the sourcing of our kitchen cabinets, as well as recommended a great stone worktop contact of his. The project was a full refurb, ripping out an old kitchen, flooring and the ceiling and needed a complete redesign. He liaised and coordinated plumbers, electricians, waste removal and plasterers throughout the project, and only charged their cost (not adding anything on top). His pricing was very competitive and very fair. We are extremely happy with the quality of work and finish of our lovely new kitchen.
