King George's Park in Wandsworth is a fantastic escape from the city. The well-kept paths, beautiful gardens, and serene pond create a perfect setting for a peaceful walk or a family picnic. The playgrounds are great for kids, and sports enthusiasts will love the tennis courts and open fields. The park is clean, safe, and easily accessible, making it a must-visit spot for relaxation and recreation. Highly recommended!

Beautiful park with lots of space to take children or your dogs and places to sit and chill with friends or by yourself. Maybe have a picnic with food from southside or food from home, your choice. Nice to have a coffee and then come here to watch pond life and nature. There's a sign that says no rats allowed, I don't know who that's for, rats or people, but I digress, a lovely park

This is an amazing outdoor space to enjoy for the whole family. We mainly went to the children’s play area but there’s many more to see and enjoy being in the outdoors with nature. Near the Shopping centre you can always enjoy a picnic here, football games, running around, a walk or just sit and chill. There’s a trail signposted so you can also enjoy a long walk.

Vedanta means the essence of the Vedas (veda+anta).Vedanta stands for spiritual wisdom that transcends borders defined by religion, culture, race and nationality. It is possible to perceive Vedanta as a spiritual tradition that simultaneously respects and transcends all religions.Only the Truth is and you are That!

You Are the unchanging Awareness

in which all activities takes place.

To deny this is to suffer, to know this is Freedom.

It is not difficult to realize this because it is your True Nature.

Simply Inquire 'Who am I?' and Watch Carefully.

Do not make effort and do not stir a thought.

Look within, approach with all-devotion and stay as Heart.

Keep vigilant and you will see that nothing will arise.

This is the trick of how to keep the mind quiet

and how to win Freedom. This doesn't take time

because Freedom is always Here.

You simply have to watch: where does mind arise from?

Where does thought come from?

What is the source of this thought?

Then you will see that you have always been Free

and that everything has been a dream."

Great park with lots of tennis courts and a large area to play football, rugby or walk your dog however....

One huge negative is the amount of chavs walking around and throwing whatever they have onto the ground. End of the day in the summer you see boxes full of leftover chicken bones, cans of drinks and more general waste all over the park, especially in the area right next to the children's centre. Occasionally whilst walking my neighbours dog after dark the kids playground is openly used as a smoke area.

Shame as many families go there with their kids only to find their children playing amongst tons of rubbish.

Add more signs teaching kids to use bins AND/or impose strict fines on those that litter, If the parents can't teach the right values, a...

For those of you who like nice walks, this park offers you the opportunity to wander for hours at a time along a beautiful scenic route that follows the river Wandle. There is a skate park for halfway down for those of you who enjoy skateboarding and scooters. For you history buffs out there King George's Park was once the site of row upon row of small 1 floor bungalows put up in haste post WWII to provide accommodation to the many people displaced...
