After two weeks of horrible manicure and pedicure experience at Lily’s nails & beauty my nails still struggle to regrow. The surface is uneven, thickness destroyed, they break, layer, etc. They were damaged with taking gel off with machine (twice - because my original gel had to be taken off and then the material which was applied to my nails but looked horrible (as it was out of date). I have zero positive comments how it is possible to use the same tools from customer to customer without properly washing/sanitising them/etc. unacceptable in London. For the real damage of my nails and painful experience I was made to pay £60 as there was “manicure” and “pedicure” which were done - to a very low level both, those apparently do not include. Fraud. For the customers I recommend to completely avoid Lily’s nails & beauty, and for business itself I have to remind that is VERY dangerous to have untrained staff in nails business - if you keep going this way, someone will sue you very quickly. All the best!

I’ve been going to Lily’s nails for almost 2 yrs. A good place to go for a basic shellac mani, which I used to go for. I’ve been wearing acrylics since the beginning of the yr and I like getting some simple nail art done. They charge around £10 for nail art and if I’m honest it can be hit or miss. Last week a new guy did my infill and didn’t bother trimming my cuticles and didn’t take the infill all the way down to the bottom of my nail bed. Lily then did my nail art and it was terrible as was her attitude when I expressed that I wasn’t happy with the quality. I had had a draining day and couldn’t be bothered to argue, though I did get a few pounds knocked off the bill. This isn’t the first time I’ve been unsatisfied with the quality and had staff make it seem like I’m crazy for challenging their work. Suffice to say, I will be going elsewhere from now on as I don’t want to expect an argument every time I get my nails done

I came to have my nails manicured last week. I contacted them as the manicure was atrocious. The cuticles have been cut so badly that they were almost bleeding. The paint work has also been badly applied. I sent pictures and was asked to come in. They were full of excuses, my hands are dry??? I have even told she won't cut back now because she has made them sore. When having the manicure done, she was working between 2 customers, and I was left with hands to soak in cold water. Her appointment came in, and she left me with someone else. Very unprofessional. It was painful trying to have a conversation. Full of excuses. TAKE OWNERSHIP and offer a new manicure and paint to put your poor showmanship right. Had booked for her to take off, but you know what... I'm going somewhere else where I'm treated with respect. It's really frustrating... you should be ashamed.

Website gives a price of £18 for acrylic refill with approx. 30 minutes time estimate. The appointment lasted however for a full hour (!) which is double the time they state it would be. I also immediately mentioned as soon as i sat down that i wanted a different colour and the employee did not bother to give me the color palette until he actually needed to start painting, making me rush my decision asking if "i had chosen already" 1 second after he gave me the palette. when i showed him a picture of the colour i wanted, he did not even bother trying to help find the suitable color from the palette and then grabbed a nail polish that was not close to the color I wanted. I then decided to just go with a completely different colour than i initially wanted. Because i was getting a bit stressed about time considering it was going way slower than should i accidently touched something with my hand when i needed to put it under the nail lamp. when taking my hand out and he saw the marks on the nails he held up my hand and said "see??!!" and making sigh noises, very rude and disrespectful as these things are normal to happen and it's unacceptable to treat a customer that way. i also saw the other employee looking at me judging me with a look stating "look at what you did". horrible experience people making you feel that uncomfortable. Also not happy with the quality overall, 1 nail is missing a bit of paint at the end, the other has a small mark in it, and not happy with how the nail beds look. for taking twice as much time as you state you need you'd expect at least good quality. They also charged me £30(!) somehow it always ends up being more than they initially state at this place.

Overall horrible experience, horrible attitude to customers, bad atmosphere, and bad quality. i will avoid coming here in the future.

UPDATING as per response owner: indeed i had booked 2 appointments, and because i wanted to reschedule to an earlier time but couldnt just adjust the existing booking i had booked an additional slot WITH the description: “cancel 4PM”. So the fact that you are claiming i just didn’t show up is not true! This is exactly what i mean with your horrible attitude towards customers. Instead of addressing all the other matters i’ve laid out just lay the fault with me (the customer, and by stating a lie). Never coming here again and recommend strongly For other people to do the same.

As for the price, just explain this to the customer on the spot UP FRONT and CONFIRM they are okay with it instead of just saying how much they need to pay afterwards, you know you can overcharge people that way by giving them 0 visibility on what you’re charging them for. Disrespectful to...

Previously was a regular customer and left good reviews. Now the staff there has completely changed. A week ago I called and asked to make an appointment with my nail tech I already know .They told me that they were checking her working hours and would call back. Two hours later I called again, they apologized and told me to come and that my nail tech is waiting for me. when I came it turned out that I had been deceived and that this person no longer works, of course if they had told me honestly I would not have gone there. They assured me that they would make me the design I wanted. They charged me extra 20£more supposedly for a special design, although it was a classic French manicure with powder. I said that I don't care what technology they use or how much it costs, the main thing is that the result is design and strong, like I usually do. Visually it was a normal French manicure ,but they did a French manicure with a metal scraper and all my nails hurt for 3 days. I literally couldn't do anything with my hands without pain. They did a very thin manicure and after a week my nails broke. All good reviews you see more than a couple of years ago belong to the former owner and former masters, now this salon is suitable only for those who need simply to...

DO NOT GO HERE ! They will lie to you and charge you for things you didn’t want or ask for!!!! Edited to respond to reply: I was NOT told how much it would be, nor was i asked if i wanted shellac. I was also NOT told that the prices on the board were wrong until I queried the payment - so further lies from the company. further lies.

I went in and asked for a full set of acrylics, expecting to pay £25 (as shown in the board on the window). I did not ask for gel. They did not show me gel colours. They used a normal nail varnish (I checked the bottle) but when it came to pay they charged me £38!!!! I did not ask for gel. I did not ask for shellac top coat which they claimed to have done. On their price list shellac is £8 and “recommended” but I had it put on without my consent and then charged £10 instead of £8 aswell! This all happened alongside my friend who asked for a gel removal and white tips on natural nails. They charged her £38 as well and claimed it was because they gave her a manicure - again SHE DID NOT WANT THIS AND DID NOT ASK FOR IT.

We were very clear in our instructions but had things done without knowing and then charged for things we didn’t want. They also LIED about the nail varnish being gel to...
