Yellow Ladder Coffee — Restaurant in London

Vegan pastries are awesome! The first time I visited I loved it and they were well cut and served to us in separate bags♡

HOWEVER there was this guy who was rude to this new employee. we were the only people there with and weren't rushing them at all and he had such lack of respect for this worker that he frustratingly took over his job when you can tell he was trying his best. HORRIBLE TO SEE THAT .

This was on the 8th of May at around 17:00 and we didn't appreciate his God complex and creepy way of judging how may pastries me and my husband bought.

He also violently cut our pastries like it was a bloody burden (I can tell cause the first time I went there on the same day the person who cut the exact same pastries i ordered cut them without the violent banging) then without reason asked if they were for sharing. I ignored him because it is none of his business but he kept asking until my husband just said "yea" to shut him up cause he could already see how uncomfortable his behaviour was making me ...

Anyway asking that has a subliminal lining of //this is a lot of pastries and why do you want it all cut up//. Im sorry if my mouth doesnt eat a pastry in 3 bites like yours mate.

If we didn't have a good experience the first time round I WOULD NEVER VISIT AGAIN that man is a disgrace to how he treats people and judges them with unsolicited comments.

I am truly saddened by my experience here today I felt the need to write a review. The customer service is a disgrace and this employee needs a course in people skills. Yesterday I bought a coffee from city brew but by the time I had realised that it had no syrup I was already on the bus. So ordering another coffee this morning I just commented that my coffee yesterday was missing syrup. This employee then proceeded to ask if I stirred the cup and that it was impossible for him to have gotten my order wrong. All this was said whilst he again mixed up my coffee order. He then blamed me and told me that I did not tell him I wanted oat milk. In addition to all of the above, after collecting my coffee I overheard him talking to another customer about me. After this encounter I will not be returning here. If you do decide to buy your coffee from this establishment be sure to check that the barista has not made the incorrect order. Absolutely appalling customer service and disrespect from the employee...
