GreenZen Poké, Matcha & Bubble Tea Bar — Restaurant in London

After eating here many times, unfortunately this review does not compare to the first. The food was great when this place opened. But now, it's consistently disappointing, with the protein to rice ratio, with CONSTANT missing ingredients, unripe avocado which is pretty much inedible, beetroot salmon has almost no flavour at all anymore... I specifically asked about the missing ingredients last time and was flat out lied to. Asked about the seaweed, she said it was the dry green flakes on top, when I asked about the nori, again she pointed to the flakes. I know what seaweed is and what it looks like and it wasn't that. The owner was there and agreed, so obviously I feel cheated by the store. It's just sad, coz I used to go there all the time and now it just feels like a rip off and waste of money. If you don't have/get the proper ingredients to make your own dishes then don't put them on your menu. Most people probably won't write a negative review, they just won't go back!

Edit to respond 13/1/20 - but that's not the seaweed used before or the one advertised on the menu. When it's not the seaweed, it's the avocado missing multiple times, etc. I think I only had one bowl with ALL the ingredients advertised. And it had the strands of hijiki seaweed, strips of nori, nice portion of salmon, ripe avocado,etc. It was delicious and that's why I kept coming back. But everytime now I get disappointed. I do mean to say this as constructive criticism, because I did love the food and I wish to come back, if the standard goes back to what it was. Thank you...

Had high hopes for this place after reading about their start in the business. Unfortunately I went in their first week of business and was really disappointed in the Sweet Salmon Sunshine bowl that I received. It was basically just rice, some edamame beans, a few lettuce leaves, a small amount of beetroot salmon and some mayo. No avocado like was advertised and I'm pretty sure it was missing other things as well. Unfortunately I only realised this was the case when I got home to open my takeaway box. I've tried many poke places before that are much better. Definitely not worth £7.50 and they didn't offer the introductory discount either as they had advertised. Emailed feedback to the owner via their website thinking that I'd give them a chance to rectify the issue but got no response. Other than the fact I'm a keen supporter of small business I would have given a 1 star, they definitely missed the mark especially for a dish that is meant to be their signature....

Rude, entitled girl serving me today. I got into the queue and she rather abruptly asked me ‘what do you want?’ I had just literally entered the place so told her I needed to look at what you have. She then told me she’s closing in three minutes in attempt to speed me up, fair enough. So I began to choose as quickly as possible, less than 10 seconds went by when she said ‘you need to hurry up’ again in a very rude tone. The food is already made so was this sense of urgency really necessary, the menu is small, it would have only likely taken me at most one minute to decide what I wanted.
