Cat is a superstar! I've been a loyal MAC user for years but more recently, I've tried my hand at a few other brands and seem to always find by way back to the pro's (MAC). I've found that my original Mac staples are still the same today as they were years ago and MAC sticks to what they're good at and keeps continuing products that really work (thank goodness!). Other brands I've tried here and there, change their products quickly and have limited availability depending on which concession you visit, which can become very tedious! I recently had a bad experience at another make up store in White City and so again, went back to MAC. Cat looked after me and was amazing and made me remember why MAC is such a great brand! Cat is so knowledgeable, talented, professional and a warm person. She took the time to really understand my concerns and what I was looking for, amazingggg colour matching and tailored the entire experience specifically to me and my skin! It was the best experience I have had in a long time! I left with fantastic products (recorded on my profile incase I forget colours etc), I also have a couple of products on the list to get next month and also left with a sample of a product I can try in the meantime (that worked wonders when Cat applied it to prep my skin). Visiting MAC was definitely worth the trip, Cat is an absolute dream and already planning...
Read moreI ordered an item as a christmas present for click and collect to this store on the 3rd of December. I then received an email on the 7th advising my item had been dispatched along with a tracking link and it stated I would receive an email when my item was ready to collect in store. I waited and waited and never received the collection email checked tracking again only shows as item dispatched!? Call MAC customer service this am to be told that item has been in store since 11th December and I would need to collect today as they only keep items for ten days in store. Rushed to get to MAC store this afternoon only to be told that item has been sent back this morning! Explained my above issue barely any sort of acknowledgement or understanding from shop assistant just a response of "we've been having loads of issues with in store collect items"...like that's my problem. How do you expect customers to collect items if they are not advised the items are ready for collection but yet you clearly state not to come to the store to collect your item until you receive the item ready for collection email. I won't be shopping here again highly disappointed and have been purchasing MAC...
Read moreHad an encounter today with a pretty rude security guard lady. I assume she was security atleast, she was wearing a white blouse. I was just looking at the lipsticks, looking for a specific one. She arrogantly asked if I was looking for something, and I showed her the lipstick and the shade name. I said “It’s this one, I Deserve This” and showed her my phone. The shade is called I Deserve This. She said “no, not ‘this one’ give me the name” in a very rude tone. I said “It’s called I Deserve This” again, even though I already said it. She then said “I Deserve This? I don’t think so.” again in a very rude tone, it sounded like an insult. Like she tried to tell me that I actually didn’t deserve the lipstick. I almost walked out, but she went over to an employee to ask and help me, even though SHE started talking to ME first. I was just looking. The employee that helped me was very nice though, so I will give one star for her and her only. But please hire someone who actually wants to do their job and is happy to be there, and who is not rude...
