Amouage Lounge — Restaurant in London

First of all, the pictures are far too generously showcased; it looks like a Kebab/Tea shop located in a prison at best. I went there last night, we stayed 10 minutes. The place has no charm, it looks like it’s not finished. Patrons on site weren’t really what you’d expect from a place showcasing those pictures. Customer service is REALLY VERY BAD! We came in and it was like a mere “hi” was not even something they thought necessary. When we asked to be moved to be nearer a heater, our waiter told us “the heater’s there” like he just couldn’t be more annoyed that we were freezing in our puffa-jackets because they won’t pay a proper heating system for their customers. We moved and the heater was either not working or was left on minimum. This didn’t bother our waiter who was more geared onto harassing us to order shishas than to make sure we were comfortable. We asked for a coffee/chocolate/tea just to get warm, he said “no shisha/no drinks”.

Now the biggest issue: these folks are LIARS! I phoned them at midnight, asked if they served alcohol, was told “yes, until 1am and we’re open until 4am”. We paid for an Uber and arrived at 12:40am. Our waiter said “no alcohol” and was trying to argue that I dialed the wrong number which -conveniently enough- wouldn’t pick up as I tried to call it back although he confirmed this was the right number when I showed him. My guess is that they said they served alcohol so we’d come and hoped we would order something else once there. WRONG BET we booked another Uber and went to another place that actually respects and cares for their customers.

Last couple of month their service has been bad. Specially when it comes to serving coal. And when you order any hot beverages it takes them over 30 min before you get anything. And sometimes they completely forget you even placed an order. lol comical so I have decided to revise the rating.

This place is great for Shisha, Their Flavours are genuine if you know flavours you know, you could have any hot drink that you like. Their shisha prices are very reasonable, Perfect place for chilling with mates watch football/Boxing on TV screens which are everywhere surrounding the place. I have been coming to Amouage since they first opened and I must say up until now it’s still one of the best shisha cafes in london.

They always have a wide selection of shisha tobacco flavours which through my experience are always in stock and most importantly genuine unlike a lot of shisha cafes in London.

Aside from shisha they have a great selection of hot and cold drinks, always warm and the service is great.
