An impressive and imposing building houses the Richmond Museum along with the Library. It is next to the banks of the Thames where many people visit daily for the coolness, for a walk or to practice their painting skills while looking at the view

A small museum tucked away on the second floor of the Old Town Hall and above the reference library. It had a selection of artefacts from Richmond's history, including from the royal place that was once located here. It also has a small shop.

On the second floor, interesting artifacts from 'Pomona' face mask 2014 to Rabbit mask 'An Octoroon' 2017. Artifacts from river Thames ex. Mesolithic Flint axe.

The coffee and crafting here is excellent. Items from the collection are introduced and described - the social history is fascinating. A craft is then carried out for around an hour and a half based on the item. The crafting really makes one aware of the skills of those who made the original item. Supplies are provided so the crafter can continue at home. A superb afternoon which I would...

A very small museum. We walked around in half an hour. Free museum. Lovely artefacts and information. I was expecting it to be a little bit bigger. Very welcoming staff. We managed to get parked up practically outside (£7.50 for 2 hours). I was a bit optimistic with paying for two hours parking. There is a study area and library. Clean toilets. Lots of boutiques,...
